  2. floyd is not physically stronger than pacquiao , just watch them both train it seems to me manny is a little more robust and is he stronger of the two , but i agree floyd will use his his height and reach advantages well in this fight using his jab more than he usually would , and how the hell are people saying floyd will be a middleweight on fightnight , no way thats ridiculous him and manny arent so different in size these days

No. In fact, his size would be his downfall.

A couple of years ago, he could have won. The same way he defeated Castillo, Corrales or Gatti. Constantly moving and jabbing.

But he hasn't fought that way in a long time. And I'm sure he can't anymore. He's 34 years old and a big muscular guy. And he's become infatuated with his philly shell.

Everybody with a little boxing knowledge knows that slick boxing ends where your opponent starts throwing 80 punches per round. No way are you gonna slip and duck all that.

Once you step in with an elite swarmer, you need to step it up and enter a war. No way Floyd is going to do that.

He detonated an IED on Hatton's chin and ended his career. He put Cotto down twice who has taken harder punches than Mayweather ever has and stayed upright.

Mayweather was doing a Russian jig from a pretty good but not extraordinary Shane Mosley right hand. Of course Pacquiao can hurt Mayweather. With a single shot or with an accumulation of shots, and probably both if the fight ever happens.

I would like to see that happen actually. The bigger Floyd is than Manny, the better for Manny's legacy.

Manny should throw in a fight night weigh-in I'm curious whether Floyd will come in big as a strategy.

floyd comes in a pound or 2 over from 147.he only weighed 150 when he fought hoya at 154.floyd is still a small ww, when guys like berto come in 156 and ortiz coming in at 161.those are big ww to me, anyone coming in over jr mw limit is a ww to me.manny, mayweather and judah when he was out ww come in the 140's.tim brad 1st fight at ww he came in over a 150 pounds.mayweather and manny are bout the same size, floyd is jst taller i think.i bet they both walk around about 5 pounds away from each other.

Why do people fall for that Pacquiao knocked Hatton out earlier than Floyd crap. They both won end of, it doesn't matter when the win came. Floyd has a different style to Manny which is bound to take longer to KO opponents.

Also I notice again that when Manny says "I will take the test" It's gospel truth. But when Floyd says "I couldn't get my weight higher than 147" He's a liar!

Because it could be said that Pac figured out hatton quicker... or executed his game plan much better than floyd

Not really. Pacquiao has a style that can result in early KO's. Floyd's style isn't like that at all. I could understand if Floyd and Manny had similar styles while Floyd struggled and Manny dominated but they don't.

Even Sr. couldn't believe it. PEDs is the gospel truth in ESB world.

It dont matter about the styles, we talking about which boxer performed better with a common opponent.

Pac performed better because it only took him 2 round to beat the same opponent, 2 kds & a KO.

What would you rather have? the ability to beat a fighter in 10 rounds or the ability to beat em in 2?

I'd rather have the ability to win. You have a very blinkered view on boxing my friend. Floyd beat Marquez in much more emphatic fashion than Pacquiao did but Floyd's style is more suited to doing that it doesn't make him better than Pacquiao.

It's all about styles, looking at it from who can KO who faster is simply wrong IMO.

Pac has the abiltity to win.. you cant compare Pac vs jmm and Floyd vs jmm, Jmm never even fought at welterweight, he was bloated and slow compared to when a greener pac fought the same opponent who was at his peak weight range. So ur comparison is Void

Hatton was still at his physical peak and at his weight range when Pac fought him.. That is a better indication of H2h prime 4 prime skill

Its not all about the KOs, dont get me wrong. Buts its a legitimate win and most boxers go out there wanting to knock his opponent out as early as the oppurtunity arises.

Boxing is about beating your opponent with the skill & tools that you have.
The quicker you beat em, the better you did. Using style as a defence is quite frankly an excuse.

H2h Pac beat hatton quicker or used his skills more efficiently to beat hatton compared to FMJ

I believe Pacquiao has a HUGE power advantage + he is faster and better on legs.

Floyd on the other hand is BIGGER indeed and has better timing, obviously better defence.

I don't care who wins I just want to see it badly.
