??? Why would he he's class and has just moved to Farnell I've heard. Hardly time to start looking at boxing every week for £300

He needs to sort it out asap though.

How long has he been out for now?

Oh, and if ANY Boxing fan ever slates MMA as 'all that hugging ****', just watch the Don/Haskins fight.... Probably the worst fight i've ever seen.

Hes been pretty inactive - has he been injured or taking a break? Clearly needed a change although i missed the pts loss against ali.

    :patsch

If you're referring to the Ali fight, then he was fighting with a broken rib for most of that fight.

Also the last fight was like 7 months ago. Why make this thread now?

It was bad- what made it worse was its potential to be good. what a shame.

The guy lost me almost a grand on my Mag 7 accumulator  I suppose it serves me right for putting a 66-1 odds on favourite in the bet mind. But it still hurts

Never a nice feeling when someone lets you down on a big accumulator.

Still, at least you lost fair and square if its any consolation. In a moment of inspiration I had 4 quid in one of my accounts and put it on the Olympians to all win on points on one particular bill. All came through except the Gavin one where the ref stopped in the last 10 seconds with the most terrible stoppage in boxing history :patsch

4 quid won of won £400

Because it has been 7 months ago since he fought lol.

Broadhurst has not fought anyone and has been gifted everything he has got, superflyweight is one of the easiest divisions only a few Superfly's in the country and not that many in Europe, if he had been in the higher weight divisions he would have done nothing in boxing.

Frank Warren did a great job for him giving him the Commonwealth title on a plate, got beat in his last fight by Naji Ali a novice with a record of 3-2 with his 3 wins being against journeymen with negative records and he is 30 years old to boot, old for the weight.

Broadhurst fought Asamoah Wilson ( Commonwealth )3-6 who had been knocked out 3 times, in fact was koed by Jamie Speight 1-0 and had lost to two africans 0-2 and 1-2 in africa, Wilson smashed up Broadhurst's nose even though he was so poor, he could not even hit the pads properly before the fight.

Broadhurst fought Isaac Owusa ( Commonwealth ) 4-3, after that fight Owusa fought in a 4 rounder against a novice at the time Michael Walsh and Broadhurst's other opponenent yet another African fighter Isaac Quaye was beaten by Owusa. two of these opponenent's have been stopped by the Walsh's, maybe the Walsh bros are higher level then Broadhurst. The only decent opponenent Broadhurst has fought was Haskins and he was on the way down, What hapened there ?

Anyone that has seen Broadhurst v Haskins would be forgiven for thinking hes a diabolical fighter. The fellas post above me pretty much says it all. Bombers way off calling him class, hes going nowhere imo

you think he's in danger of becoming a journeyman as he hasn't fought in 7 months? there seems to be a contradiction there...

he can still have a decent career if he wants to. having woodhall going on about him being a world class fighter before he'd fought anyone probably didnt help

i'd like to see how he gets on with the new trainer before throwing him on the failed prospects scrapheap
