Upwards of 130 his legacy is very thin.

It's a shame really, as i honestly reckon that Floyd would beat everyone up to 154 out there.

The longer he leaves it to fight Pac, the worser it will go for him i reckon. Hell, the fight might not even happen as Pac may lose a fight before he get's to Floyd.

His legacy at the lower weights is secure, but after 130? Nah.

If he fought and beat Pac and Martinez then that would do a lot for his legacy.

Yeah, I agree with Nipple. Very disappointing at 135+.

At 147 competition has been rather poor.

At the moment due to this its kind of hard to judge, id have him top 30 p4p. Were he to face and beat Pacman then it would certify a top10 slot.

Thats a hell of lot of great fighters you are displacing from the top 10 on the back of beating Pac at 147.....

Erm, why? He has pretty much ducked a shitload of fighters above 130. No way does a win over Pacquiao justify a top ten place.

he is not the p4p best of all time. or anywhere near the top 25. but he is/was a very skilled boxer that held the true World title in 3 weight Divisions and that needs to be respected. certainly he will be in the top 10 all time at 130lbs which is some achievement.

sadly he will likely be remembered for who didn't fight than receive acclaim for who he beat which is frustrating as ALL fighters in the modern era cherry pick when given the opportunity.

If he finishes for good now, he will be looked back on frustratingly as a potential ATG great who never really fought the men who could have defined his legacy. If he does come back, he HAS to fight pacquiao or martinez to improve his legacy; there's no point in returning if not. If he fought them both and won, his status in all time rankings would rocket

Well at 135 he beat some very good guys but beyond that his opponents have either not been elites, at a different weight or old, so theres a large part of conjecture to just where you rank the last 6 years of his career.

Pacman is an elite fighter who has faced and comfortably beaten the best of the 147 division. If he beats Pacman he goes down as one of the best all time welters and id have him top 10.

Marquez, Corrales, Castillo, Hatton, De La Hoya, Mosley, Judah, Gatti...the guys pretty much fought everyone except Pacman.

I find it funny how people are saying Manny is a true elite p4p fighter when 3 of Manny's last 6 opponents have all been scraps from Mayweather, plus do the math, De La Hoya was coming off a loss to Floyd, Hatton was ruined by Floyd and was their for the taking by time Manny got to him, Cotto was coming off a big loss to Margarito, Margarito himself was coming off a 18 month ban and a devastating defeat to Mosely, now he's fighting Mosley, who was outclassed by Floyd and looked terrible against Sergio Mora, all Manny's opponents from De La Hoya onwards are shot to sh!t
