Dwyer makes some good points but he definitely is a proven *****.

Yep, Dwyer knows more boxing than Al Bernstein.

That 15 minute video can be reduced to 5 minutes if he speaks faster.

Why would he respond to someone else's opinion?

I thought the point of his channel was boxing gambling advice?

Bernsteins a classy knowledgeable guy. Enjoy his commentary. Nothing wrong with his opinion.

Dwyers comments about Alverez ( starting at 5:50), about how somehow he has a title at 154 without fighting Angulo, Kirkland, Cotto, and K9 apply PERFECTLY to Mayweathers career at 147

since I watched dwyers vids and read his comments im pretty positive that he likes floyd way better than he does manny, not because he is black or something like that just because he likes pure boxers better and he thinks manny is just some slugger that is way overhyped. dwyer likes guys like dawson and mayweather so much that he always picks them in almost every fight and always against guys like pacquiao, troughout the enitre peds bull**** he was always making comments for mayweather and choosing sides. He even made a vid saying floyd should wait for pac to fight marg so he would be more damaged. Dwyer is great when making objective vids but he is extremely biased when it comes to the may-pac debate.

Just watch Dwyer's take on Vic Darchinyan vs Perez and you will understand this guy is a nobody.

Al Bernstein didnt take into account Floyds ability to control the pace of the fight. He doesnt need to make Pac miss by 60%, he can make him miss by 35% and lower his workrate by staying away and countering. So if Pac now ends up throwing around 800 punches in this fight with 25% accuracy, Floyd throws 500 with 40% accuracy it would be a much closer fight in terms of landed punches overall, similar to Pac-JMM 1 & 2.

I think its much more complicated than simply putting it down to workrate, but I do see his point.

I too agree, that it's way to simple to just look at the workrate... I just don't believe, that anyone is able to hit Mayweather 400 times in a fight...

Of course Dwyer's video is longer, so he has the time to make a lot of points, but he's right, that Pacquiao hasn't faced a good guy with a straight right for some time!
I would even say, that Marquez' marquee punch is the left hook which he rips to the body and head, and when he mix in the uppercuts, he finishes people... He's a technician and a pound for pound great, so he's able to do it all, but his left hand is his best weapon.

Mayweather has a bomb for a straight right, look how he took out Philip N'dou for example... He hasn't faced as quick a fighter as himself (perhaps Mosley, but he's a flurry fighter), so he's gonna be in some trouble as well, but I believe, like Dwyer, that his ability to make adjustments midway will win him the fight...

Another point: All right I'm picking Mayweather, but it's right when people say that the guy hasn't faced the best fighters at 147. Baldomir was the lineal champ but nobody gave him a chance against Floyd, he just got lucky when Judah had one of his off-days. And there were plenty of those at 147 for Judah, that's why he's down to 140 again now...

Mayweather never faced a Cotto or Margarito in his prime, and Hatton just isn't a natural welter as well, he had serious problems against Collazo... I believe that you can accuse both Mayweather and Pacquiao of a little cherry-picking, Mayweather also took on Gatti instead of Kostya Tzyu at 140, but Pacquiao was just handed the belt at 154... He could have faced the best instead of Margarito. Perhaps everybody deserves a second chance, like Pacquiao and his team said in the 24/7 series, but it's not the pound for pound king's job to rehabilitate other fighters...
