It must be tough for Freddy to see a Mexican fighter getting outclassed by a PR fighter.

Diaz will get his ass handed to him against any decent boxer. His stance is way to upright, no head movement, no decent guard, lousy footwork and way too slow and wide delivering punches to make any impact on a boxer.

Better stick to where he is making money and stay the hell out of boxing because he has no business there. No more so than James Toney had taking a cage fight and getting embarrassed.

he's got good MMA boxing....as far as that goes. He's only flirting with the idea of taking boxing fights because he doesn't feel he's getting paid enough in MMA so boxing should theoretically pay him better. He's in for a rude awakening.

Agreed, the novelty will likely puts asses in the seats the first time or two but once he's exposed as a non entity in boxing, he'll not be paid any better than fighting MMA.

Hey, you all, just so you know, Nick Diaz is NOT a good representation of MMA striking, his boxing style is known to be very pitter-patter, very unorthodox, but strangely very effective in the MMA style. He does have no footwork, no head movement, no defense whatsoever, in fact, each fight I'm waiting for him to finally get knocked out, meaning that he can't always rely on his chin and agressivity.

And yes, he'd get ****ed up in a boxing ring with anybody, whoever the boxer is, a simple journeyman would knock him out.

Also, you musn't take him seriously, I don't think he's gonna go fight in boxing, I think it's just talk in order for Strikeforce to pay him more to stay. He's been bullshitting on how he's poor for a while now, when he makes around 500,000$ per fight, which isnt a lot in boxing, but pretty good in MMA.
