:? No, he's not. Although his dominant hand is his left, he is not a south paw.

Actually, although Floyd doesn't use the the jab like he did early in his career he still uses it constantly when he's moving backwards or moving away from his opponent. It's suttle and lightning fast and very easy to miss on film. I know it's a long time ago but if you watch the JLC I fight. In round 5 when you think Floydie is getting pounded on the ropes. Slow the tape and watch JLC's head snap back at least 3 - 5- times. That's because Floyd even now is constantly following up that right cross (or alleged jab) with a left hook or short inside upper cut or body shot depending on what's available. Mayweather is definitely a different fighter now than he was like let's say in 2005. Manny would have no prayer against that Mayweather. Personally I don't think he has a prayer now, however the good news for Manny is Floyd isn't the same fighter and this is fact.

i wonder what floyd fight freddie would use as a study guide....the one where he made marquez, who pushed manny to the brink, look like he wasnt even close to being in the same class

or the fight where freddie said "theres no way he stands in front of mosley...he has to get on his bike to win".....then said "floyds legs are gone" after floyd did the exact opposite of what freddie predicted

You seem like a real Floyd nuthugger in most of your posts so I'd be interested to hear your opinions on why Floyd isn't the same fighter?

Let's talk deterioration, surely a nuthugger like yourself would know better than anyone about your beloved Money ... ?

I guess your bet/thinking makes sense here, Shane will definitely win rounds here and Floyd will undeniebly look for patterns/blueprints/fight modes to carry on against Pac. Shane, on one hand, will not engage as much in a all hell breaks loose attitude this time and will try to set Pac up to favour his chances of an upset and, on the other hand, Floyd can definitely think and fight thinking about Shane's effort against Pac and maximize technical approaches to take his best chance. However, neither Shane nor Floyd will have that much of a chance to time Pacquiao with leading right hands if Pac keeps on hitting em first with his own leading right and that's all footspeed from Pacquiao. I believe JMM's approach works better as he weathers Pacquiao storm by punching back hard all the time and making Pacquiao pay when he takes chances to lead the fight from that point on. I trully don't believe Shane can punch back cause he will not have time to react and I can't see Floyd slipping all of that and busting him up on the fast counter-move. Shane will have to step in faster and be first if he can, and Floyd will have to rely as much as he can on sharpshooting powerpunching and accuracy to make it against Pacquiao's volume.

You guys are missing out on the point. Me and Leon state this all the time. Floyd will study how Manny does in the clinches and in the pocket.

I've always said Manny will beat Mosley's ass, but I also predicted that after this fight people will look back and say damn Manny doesn't do good against ______ or Manny gets hit a lot against _______ or cant' deal with _________. People will be saying one of those things. This fight will show more weaknesses in Manny

Some fighters are trigger happy. Shane is hug happy.

He's like a big black bear. Once he clinches you, most will feel too violated to stay in the right state of mind. $ had training from Leonard Ellerbe, so he survived.

    What...LOL

Study guide LMAO....I thought PAC was a one dimensional bum who is easy work. Why would Floyd need to study a bum that's easy work.

Molsey and Mayweather fight nothing alike you dumb ****. If Mayweather is going to study and fight in particular it'll be the Pac - JMM fights to see how to capitalize on Pac's mistakes with precise counterpunching.

Some fighters don't study tapes, but that doesn't stop them from WATCHING a fight as a student of boxing. I think technicians like Floyd Jr, Bernard, Juan Marquez, and Nonito would be able to spot more watching a fight than even good trainers like roach.
