Watch the Tim Austin fight, and watch the Vazquez fights...Rafa has proven himself many times already, you stupid cocksucker.

I dont like this fight at all....Gamboa is all wrong for Rafa at this point.

...b-b-but they already said that Marquez would be his very next fight. They didn't say jack**** about that being on the condition of beating Salido. What a ****ing brat!! Do what you said you were going to do, damn it. I hate when boxers look past opponents. I really hate it when they **** up the program just because things didn't go their way.

Why not? Good fight. Yuriorkis needs to stay active and this will be another Jorge Solis type of blow out. No one at the moment ( or in the future ) can handle Gamboa's hand speed and power, much less Marquez. Just watch El Ciclón blow away Marquez in less than 5 rounds, while Marquez gave Lopez fits! :hey

I"m always worry about those old great fighters, Duran comes to mind, nobody gave him a chance against More and Barkley, and he came up on top, they seems to find a way to bring back better days, saying tha, Gamboa should win this one.

Good point GE, this will be a good "staying active fight" for El Ciclon. Rafa has some good skills that will help Gamboa stay sharp and on point. But the fact that Rafa is war torn, past prime, and out of his natural weight class he will only be cometitive for a few rounds.

I want Rafa to fight Lopez. But even so, I hope Marquez pulls it off. I love Gamboa but I gotta cheer for Rafa, technically sound and exciting as hell.

Question: if Gamboa stops Marquez, does that eliminate the possibility of a Marquez-Lopez rematch?

    Is that fair?

If JuanMa wants to settle his business with Salido first and try to regain his belt, fine. Once that's done, win lose or draw, he owes Marquez a rematch (whether or not Marquez himself loses in the meantime).

It was dotted in and as good as done, FFS. Lopez losing to Salido shouldn't affect that at all (nor should Marquez losing to Gamboa if this happens).

Marquez can still be formidable - and Gamboa deserves a shot against a well recognized opponent to expand his own fan base.

    Lets get it on. :bbb
