The man HAMMERED Cotto/Margarito. Two fighters who Floyd wanted NOTHING to do with, fact.

Hatton ruined? Nah, Pac ruined him and retired him (as he did with Oscar).

Cant agree there mate Its hardly fact. What is a fact however is that bob arum stood in the way of some fights. Arum has all but said he wont give floyd a fight with any of his guys. (in fact if memory serves im pretty sure he did say it at one point) Cotto and marg weould be like mosely anyway.....once Floyd beat them they would suddenly be too old or too shot. When he beats Pac (and he will ;) ) there will be several excuses come out of the woodwork as to why it happened imo

It's a pity Floyd doesn't share your confidence in him, Kermi.

    A huge waste of talent.

No amount of money can make up for that fact.

I find it funny how you're completely biased against Pacquiao in favour of supporting Mayweather. Hatton "ruined by Floyd", Pac's opponents since De La Hoya have been "shot to ****" etc.

Pacs not a natural welter and the current welterweight division is pretty weak. Pacs a great fighter but Floyd beating him at 147 doesn't make PBF an ATG at welterweight.

The fact that he's beaten who he has and yet many on here think he's massively underachieved says it all.

He's the best pure boxer of our generation, since prime RJJ

Cotto was the biggest fight for Floyd bar none. But what did he do instead of take it? Retire.

If Floyd beat's Pac (The fight will never happen) then i'd give him all the credit in the world.

I think he is a great fighter but has missed the opportunities to truly be remembered like Ali, Robinson, Leonard etc

Thats my take. He maybe could have been mentioned with those guys but he's wasted the last few years of his career.

It's not just the fact he hasn't fought a few people and wasted time is it? It's that ingrained quality those guys had, where they wanted to take on the best. Floyd is missing the mental capacity to be great. This is a macho sport, the greats should be expected to have that bad ass quality. All Floyd cared about is the money and that does count against a guy eventually. He's not a fighter in the sense the very greatest were. That's why he ends up in my top 40 or so but not as high as he potentially could have been if he had a different mindset.
