im serious- for the rights to show magners league cost setanta 15k for a full season (and they showed more than rte so maybe it cost rte less)

Magners league make big money via sponsorship- sponsors love rugby and the audience it attracts (rich people) so they want as much exposure as possible and its better for the magners league to have it on tv than to not.so they mustnt charge to much

like boxing promoters- they are so desperate to be on tv the pay!!! and the cost comes in as an outside broadcasting unit to show it live is very expensive- im not sure if its the same for rugby etc or they jst buy the feed of a company

 

lads just heard Lee vs Fitz and Fury VS Sosnowski added to Haye vs Klitsko card!!!! Anyone anything further on that?
