Between a gifted armature boxer in a proffesinal ring and an actual world class fighter with skill, khans gone as far as his skill set will take him i dont see how he wins this, kendell holt is a harder hitter and more refined then khan, theres things that even lamont peterson does that outshine khan,

Yeah sometimes all this ''he's young he will get better and learn more skills'' is a load of bollocks (talking in general not just on Khan). Sometimes young athletes hit a wall mentally and stop learning and it happens. I haven't seen a great deal of development in terms of skill from Khan in recent fights.

Supposedly he was gonna show a new style against McCloskey.

He did, just not in the manner he made out. It was like watching him fight pre-Roach, but with even less discipline.

Hard to show a new style against an opponent auditioning for Strictly come dancing.

I actually can't wait for this. I think it's gonna be very exciting and action packed. Amir will have to fight close to a perfect fight to win IMO.

At least the guy wants to fight the best. He's won a world title, beat his mandatory, had a soft one and now wants to unify. Thats a pretty good schedule.

He could have not fought the 'soft one' if we're being critical.

The new style was just a ploy to get (Lazarus level) Khan fans to buy the PPV

Thats being very critical though mate. Check out Ray Leonards welterweight title reign, one of the best short reigns in boxing history. He had Benitiez, Duran and Hearns but he also had Green, Finch and Bonds in between.

Not that I'm comparing Khan to Leonard...:D

But look at it this way, he could have fought them all again instead of Green, Frinch and Bonds.

 Its a tough school for fighters these days. Every fight has to be either against the best in the division or has to be moving up in weight.
