I think it could do around as much. Although Mosely is old, he has bigger name value than Cotto did. Also the preview shows are being shown on regular TV as well, so they may pull in a few more buys than they normally would with it just being on cable.

this matchup is being seen as a stay busy fight, not a true challenge. It won't sell 1.5M

Fights where the odds are 1/9 don't sell 1.5Million

Pac is a bigger favorite against Mosley than he was against even Clottey. There's no demand for this matchup and Arum will learn it the hard way

^^^ I guess Floyd and his fans are similar in that they will always find an excuse to duck.

Well, I dont have a white slave master to hide behind like Manny, so it makes it a bit more difficult.

I don't think so. Manny's last two fights haven't been very competitive, Mosley doens't have the built in fan base of Cotto, a Puerto Rican, and the Mosley just lost to FMJ in an incredibly boring fight.

Simply put, I ordered Cotto vs. Pac, but I'm not ordering this one.

Instead of loser leave forum forever, why not make it like a month or 3 months ban? I think a permanent leave is a little extreme.

Or maybe a signature bet, tshirt bet?

Come on, I have faith that you guys are at least man enough to honor a 3 months ban.

Did you guys forget why Mayweather vs Mosley did so well? :huh
It was promoted way better than this fight is. It was the 2 best American fighters going at eachother. The number 2 p4p fighter and cash cow against number 3. :bbb

It was the fight to see Mayweather vs a true threat at welterweight. People said Floyd was ducking Mosley and was scared when Msoely entered the ring after the Marquez fight. They were saying how Floyd never faced anybody as strong and powerful as Mosley and he was the second fastest oppoennt he's faced.

Not to mention Mosley was viewd as very dangerous and was coming off the KO of granite chinned Margarito and Mayorga

Matter fact a lot of people said the Mosley fight was going to be tougher than the Pacquiao fight for Floyd. (I was on eof them and so was Bob Arum and Roger Mayweather)

    This content is protected
    1.4 million ppv buys

Pacquiao vs Mosley is manny vs his frist african american. :tired

Regardless, at this point Pac's popularity rises every fight and I dont think we will see another fight of his do less than 1mil buys unless he loses.
