:good Edwards V Kirby is a perfect aussie title fight.......you have Browne,Haumono,Funaki waiting in the mix.
Good friends with both & both Alex's sparring partners......could be any ones win....i wish both of them the best:bbb
Hey Dberry, Am happy to see these two guys go toe to toe just seems a very shallow pool of talent thats all.
I thought my wind up may have gotten a bigger response from you, Stools. I sort of agree with the talent pool, but some of that can be attributed to those pointless 'regional' titles, I do believe that these two are worthy contenders for the Aussie title though, although just going on Ben's 3-0 pro boxing record, and not taking into account a former Aus. HW as a scalp or his kick boxing form, then I can see why some one would say WTF. Obviously Kali Meehan is fighting on the world stage, but Cronje and Leapai are also out of the picture thanks to 'regional' titles I don't know if Haumono is still fighting, and if he is, is he still the OPBF champ? Ther's Whitehead, who would be a good candidate, but, as mentioned in my other post, has pulled out and was replaced by Eswards, Szigeti, who I don't think is in the same league as Kirby and Edwards, and Lucas Browne and Sosaia Funaki, who are about as deserving, I guess, as Ben Edwards to this fight. An interesting wild card to all this, however is Scott Belshaw http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=373318&cat=boxer I met him Sunday week ago and he is going to be campaigning at heavyweight over here.
Scott belshaw is fighting lucas browne on the card aswell, what a night o fights.Mik kirby's paying $4.50 on fightbet edwards $1.10,kirby has no chance according to them.
