Would you respect Mayweather if he beat Pacman?

Those other boxers you mentioned are not hated because they are not on the very top yet. Once they reached the pinnacle and seemed untouchable, they will be hated like every other dominant boxers that ruled with absolute authority.

 

If he beats Pac, he will still have his fair share of haters because of his bogus GOAT talk and general persona, but he will be respected from a boxing standpoint by most of them. Right now, his PR is at a low. Pacquiao is the one doing all the fighting, and is about to destroy another shared opponent in more impressive fashion than Floyd did.

 

Same **** happens to Pac...everybody is shot, weight drained, etc...so it works both ways.
