    :D I suppose the writers in boxing-Ireland.com want to market him, a British-Irish person as much as possible to the irish fanbase that read their website. Nothing wrong with that imo. Although I have to admit, its not a great nickname:lol:

    The thing is, Slappy is desperate to claim Macklin, and Macklin is seemingly desperate to be a plastic paddy...let them ****ing have him?! He's complete and utter muck as a fighter. Who cares? It ain't a loss.

    why does anyone have to 'lose' him? its like the mexican americans on the west coast no? they are americans but part mexican so both sets support them...why not here?
