    Is it the same with Frankie Gavin ???

    Dos anyone give a shite about him in Birmingham ??? Because from what I can see Frankie plays the Irish angle as well , with the Irish flag on his shorts , the green gumsheild and fighting for the Irish title .

    Or is it only Matthew ?? If so than why dos nobody give a shite about him in Birmingham ???

    Just curious ???

    Let no one tell you otherwise, both sell a lot of tickets in Birmingham and some of their following overlaps.

    Gavin got massive exposure in Brum after the World Championship and that has really given him a big push in the city and thankfully he has kept a lot. It would have been amazing if he went to the Olympics and medalled and that would have been epic for him and his career.

    Ive heard a few times Macklin dosent get much support in Birmingham , maybe its all just bollox .


    Just wondering what he thinks Frankies reasons are for playing the Irish angle as he seems to have the support of the Birmingham fans .

    Well he did a few thousand titles for the Mag7 bill in Birmingham so obviously someone is buying them - thats tells you all you need to know.

    Frankie gets great support from the Birmingham City guys.

    Wallet - not being funny but are there any of the Brummie fighters that are Villans because they all seem to be Blues - any reason for that?

    Personally, I wouldn't call it great support, but they do support him in numbers. Remember when you were saying how McCloskey's fans aren't yobs, chavs etc...

    Don Broadhurst is a Villa fan. :good

    Macklin calls himself Irish, Gavin calls himself English.

    yeah but that wasnt my question , it was about Frankie playing up the Irish angle which Macklin dos and asking why dos Frankie do it .

    Dos Frankie have more support in Birmingham than Macklin ?
