Also it's like Slaps wind up thread on Barker....it makes me how much he dislikes the Dazzler. Least it's blatant and bit of banter.

Where as these trolls contribute nothing.....

Exactly Mandanda, my dislike of Barker is open for everyone to see. The article was 50/50 serious/tongue-in-cheek and had the desired effect, i.e. showing the hypocrites up for exactly that.

Others masks their dislike of fighters/promoters/trainers behind a smokescreen of bull**** excuses instead of simply coming out with their real thoughts.

 

Why the hate for Barker?

I think he comes across as a good bloke, honest about his acheivements and doesnt want easy fights to get the ball rolling again.

 

I think he is a bit of a hype job to be honest.

Comes across as up himself and his fans are utter trash.

He has fought no one and think he is a star and the whole Samuels thing really pissed me off.

Some of the banter is good. Also it would be an even more pointless forum than the Aussie one (Iv never had a look it could be really busy for alls I know).

 

On Bunces show last week he came across well , I will be interested to see the calibre of fighters he's put in with over the next few fights.

As for his fans , there isnt a great deal he can do about that, people also criticise Gavin for his fans, to be fair alot of people at boxing shows are Idiots, but there not FANS if you get what I mean

The guy is a good boxer. I have enjoyed a number of his fights. I just cant stand the Londoncentric boxing medias fawning over the guy.

Prior to him getting pebble-dashed by Alfie Bellcharmer they would yapping on like the guy was the next SRL - it got on my goat a tad!

I've also heard other stuff about him when he was younger at the Repton club which isnt for here and now.
