Lives in Majorca. Happily married and in a good place. Serving God.

Yep as Slip says he's happy and at peace with himself in Majorca.

I think he comes back now and then to do bits and pieces.

One of the true warriors this countries produced.

Never realized how much i miss him and Eubank till recent years.

    seconded.

Benn was my boxing hero as a kid, an all out warrior who hung it all out to dry, learned from the Watson loss and moved across to America to rebuild.

I hate saying this but it is true imo - Benn peaked and lost his peak that night against McClellan.

I doubt we will see another fighter like him on our shores for many a year to come.

    yeah I'd say so.

read an article on him a few year back and by all accounts Mendy phoned and offered him a 3rd fight with Eubank for £500K, Benn knocked it back saying "why do I need £500K when I'm already a millionaire"

    hopefully that is the case.

Yep spot on....that fight is unique for fact it was career ending for both men. It was brutal as they come. He lost a massive part of him that night but has regained it since leaving Britain behind and finding faith.

    Chuffed for him.

Benn was my favourite fighter EVER alongside Tyson.

Easy to see why as well, due to how similar they were (even down to the colour of there trunks).

We'll NEVER have a fighter like him again.

Heard a story about Benn, I can't confirm its true but comes from a friend of mine who would have no reason to BS. Apparently Benn was DJ'ing in Ibiza, he was getting a lot of flack from some drunken idiot, offering him to a fight, telling him he was a **** boxer all that bollocks. Benn takes his crap all night, but in the end enough is enough, stops the music jumps over the DJ stand and lands a right hook right in the idiots ribs dropping him on his ass, the bouncers removed the idiot and the party carried on.
