If Floyd lost to Pac, how damaging would it be to his legacy?

The Phillipines is like a little **** den compared to America tho (no disrespect), its way harder to become an icon in America than it is in the Phillipines... way way harder.

Man I'm really not trying to convince anyone of anything. I just think of all the guys out there who tried to let their hands go with Floyd and where they quickly ended up. He has 25KO's for a reason. I would say it's due to 25 mistakes made by the opponent. Not Floyds aggressiveness and desire to take the opponent out!

  3. If Mayweather would actually get in the ring with Pacquiao, his legacy can only improve, win or lose.

would hurt for those who expect him to win.

I expect him to lose, so not really a big deal

unless he gets ****ed up ledwaba style.

  5. I guess I would agree if those were 25 actual KOs. But a lot of those were corner stoppages from accumulation of punches and just getting beat up.

You can honestly tell me Henry Bruseles and Arturo Gatti each only made 1 mistake a piece?

I like Pac for what he contributes to Boxing as a tremendous champion and what he's accomplished for thoses in his environment. Here or in the Phillipines. Manny gives a **** and gets it! I like Floyd because he's an incredible boxer/ahtlete and he comes from a family lineage that has survived(and still is surviving) some of the worst adversities that a family can go through. Yet they stick together! There's a lesson for all of us in this. It's just a dam ugly sport at the foundatin man. You have to have compassion for anyone stepping in the square circle. Even Floyd. I know it's hard. But even Floyd man..... Because if you look at Manny he has real purpose and direction in his life that has to do with philanthropy. I don't know if Floyd really knows what he wants after boxing. I think he's spent a lot of time trying to really figure out what comes after this phase of life. Floyd his finding out now that it tAkes more than MONEY to be a person. Or, to even be content with who he his. This is the most difficult thing for all athletes at some point. It has to do with personal growth and with Floyd; have we seen any?

If he loses a close classic matchup between a great slugger and a great boxer, in which he shows courage and toughness even in defeat, his reputation will not be diminished at all. It will go way up.

Depends how he loses. If he lost by a close controversial decision, not much damage. I mean even the GOAT Sugar Ray Robinson lost 19 times. If Pac KO's Floyd with all his great defense, it would be damaging, even more so in Floyd's mind than the general public's.

I didn't say a they only made one mistake. Just a vital one that got them takin out. The Gatti fights was one of the most egregious ass beatings I've ever seen on HBO. I was so glad that stopped that fight! Gatti wouldn't be right when he was 50 after an ass kickin like that. And ya know that Gatti has been in wars. But this wasn't no war. It was target practice for Floyd. It was absolutely horrible!

But those fights to me were just Floyd staying busy while trying to find a meal ticket.

If Floyd loses to Pacman. He will go down as the biggest poser/dick there has ever been in Boxing.

Floyd fans globally will be getting verbally raped by all those people they have ever had the "Floyd is the GOAT" talk with.
