So what? He was STILL blasted badly by the press. WTF are you looking for, EVEN levels of anger and outrage? And how do you measure what's enough for it to be EVEN?

:patsch As more information came about, it was clear just how cloudy the situation was. Still, he was blasted and hated by the press.

Again, who blasted WIlliams for his loss? You keep makiong these statements, but when asked, says nothing.

You just want to see this black/white...:-(

Me either. berto gave a good/fair account of himself though. Pwill who is one of my favorite fighters basically got no press after his loss. But, Pwill never gets much press anyway good or bad.

I dont agree that haymon gets singled out. I think all promoters get their due criticism at times. Don King has got the worst likely, but again you can make a strong argument that he deserved a lot of it. King also is one of the wealthiest black men in america, if not the world. So I am sure he doesnt give a ****.

Don King was hated on more than any other promoter EVER. Is race the only factor? Of course not. He was and will always be a scumbag. But, given the morality of his white counterparts, I find him being singled out to be curious at best.

    thats what those ***gits are.

those 2 bitches always cried about everyone ducking them yet they didn't fight each other, shane mosley was willing to knock pwilly out cold but he wouldnt fight him, berthoe bitched out of a fight because his second cousins dog died in haiti.

watching pwilly get knocked out cold and andre berthoe beaten by a quitter made my year, only haye knocking out klitschko top it.

I'd think you have a stronger argument making a case for King than haymon. Things have changed a lot since rumble in the jungle and thrilla in manilla. The other issue is that King put on some of the biggest fights ever in boxing. With the biggest stage comes the biggest criticism. Plus, King was a break through black promoter and with him being black I am sure there was some discrimination. And like we all know the guy blatantly ripped some fighters off. However, he is said to be worth some 700 million plus so he made his return on his promotions.
