The best fighters are currently being developed in California. Simple economics. Big population and a growing lationo presence with a deep fight culture.

    Michigan takes it

    Pennsylvania second.

California is being very underrated. They have quite the list.

He was so dope that they wanted to claim him in the South too. I read a book about him, and the author states that Sugar Robinson was clearly a "Northern boy" and the North was his home. He spent a portion of his childhood down South because he had family down there to take care of him.

    very interresting!

I wouldnt mind it too be it like this, great like Sugar was. I always read the story about him being from the south and moving when litle too the north etc. but wiki is no 100 % source so I believe you. I wonder if there is a 100 % truth story where he realy is from, from realitives or old documents. I simply wanna know where the second best fighter ever comes from.

Some people claim Sugar Robinson as a New York prizefighter. They say he learned his craft in NYC.

They used to call him the Harlem Dandy. He ran so much **** in his prime they dubbed Harlem as Sugar Ray's Harlem.

    Who's first for you?:huh
