As it stands right now the fight isn't happening. Hopefully HBO will step in and lay down the law. They've spent over a year building this thing up, they won't let it go so easily.
I think Bradley will wait on Khan at times and then force him onto back foot when times are right to do so. I see it being a tense battle early and once Bradley warms to the task his strength and will to win will take over and Khan will get entrenched in yet another battle of wills but this time against a more refined foe in Bradley.
I think the fight will be made....Tim is hustling now which is annoying but at same time he's entitled to earn good money he's never ever ducked the best and i fully expected him to take Khan on but with terms right in his favor. If he doesn't i be extremely disappointed by him. Modern day boxing....it pisses me off way fights are killed at negotiations stage but i understand that fighters wanna do best deal possible. Just hope he's not gone stupid and think he's worth more then he is.
Bradley is ducking Khan! He was offered 1.5 million 50-50 split and he is unhappy because Khan is going to make more due to Reebok sponsoring him and UK ppv money. What an idiot.
just seen that. ''Outside boxing''....Amir you need a whole new team for Boxing let alone outside biz!.
Yeah definetly but maybe if he gets a new PR manager he will advise him to get rid of his boxing management as that's what's hampering his image the most! Probably get sacked after suggesting that though. :nut
Does anybody have a good idea of how Gary Shaw plays into all of this. Is Bradley's contract with him up yet, or is that if he takes this fight then he has to renew his contract?
Things never go easy where Vali is involved. I don't know the details of it but I imagine the offer they made to Bradley was 50/50 split of only the HBO revenue which would see Khan make significantly more. It can be argued that Khan deserves that extra revenue and so on, but at the end of the day if you say you are going to offer 50/50, it should be that. Expect in the next few days for something from Saj or Khan along the lines of "Bradley is making ridiculous demands...", "how many came to watch your last fight".. and so on
Well then surely this fight was always going to be doubtful. I'm sure Bradley can see much better opportunities for him if signed with GPB or TR. Who is the one putting together this deal, why would it be Khan's team. Surely Golden Boy would be the ones organizing this one, deciding the terms and just putting it to the other two camps.
