Andre Ward hometown tricks could KO Abraham fight

    [FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]It is being reported that despite pre-fight agreement on officials (one local judge, one European and one outside of America and Europe, ref also international) - the Californian Commission might appoint a local referee after all, putting the fight in jeopardy. The one in the Ward-Kessler fight was a serious hometown ref allowing Ward all sorts of illegal tactics playing a part in Kessler's possible career-ending eye injury coming from a heat butt (this injury was only revealed after the Froch fight for obvious reasons).

    Abraham is cool with having the fight in Son of God's praying room if necessary with God himself being the ring announcer, but demands simply what he's used to: officials and referees NOT coming from his home country. So unless the officials are appointed as agreed, Team Abraham won't leave for the US.

    This is obviously another chapter from the conroversial book 'How to Keep it at Home' by Andre Ward - his team somehow managed to make Sakio Bika an unofficial Super Six replacement (unlike Johnson for example) therefore Son of God could still be contractually able to fight at home based on the 3 hometown fight clause he got that was supposed to be in effect only in the 3 round robin fights.

    **** ward, he has had by far the easiest route in this tournament, and always bullshiting it with hometown judges. This fight should be in Germany, I hope they man up and get neutral judges and ref.

    Ward is a dick. He preaches about God but knows he is cheating and giving himself unfair advantages and that alone tells me he has no integrity therefore is not in reality a god fearing man.

    Ward is, imo, the Tiger Woods of boxing.

    I dont care about bute as well, I dont like fighters who only fight in their backyard, look at his opposition then look at froch or abraham they have had way more difficult opponents, I dont hate ward or bute by the way nor has it anything to do with race if that is what you are hinting at. I just dont like this route ward is taking, he is already lucky to have this fight in california and I hope the judges for this bout are neutral so we get a fair fight.

    Bute didn't sign to participate in an international tournament that has impartiality as it's no1 rule dumbass! Everyone has to travel under the S6 contract - yet Ward somehow managed to stay home. Plus you might wanna check where is Bute from and where is he fighting. Oh!

People are understandably pissed off because Headbutting Disgrace Ward is getting all of his fights in Jokeland or at least down the road in California while every other fighter has had to fight away from home. :dead

    Meanwhile, Froch, who is just coming off a lop-sided victory, is being forced to fight on the road yet again by Showtime. :patsch

    And don't start spouting that utter poppycock that this fight is like a home fight for Abraham because of the large Armenian population in Carlton. :lol:

    What a load of ****ing bull****. Abraham has fought away from home already in the tournament and Ward hasn't so yes, he should be fighting him in Germany. You have some nerve criticising people's logic when you come out with absolute shite like that. It's not about being rewarded for your victories. Regardless of Abraham winning or losing, every fighter should have to fight away from home in the tournament. It's like saying Man United should have all their games at Old Trafford because they win there. It's an absolutely moronic thing to say but not surprising coming from you.
