At least, Bute's 4 last referees were American. What about Ward, Einstein?

You can not defend Ward on this. It may not be his fault (we don't know) but the situation is unfair. Both have agreed on something. Got it?

 

Pretty much this.....pure bull**** from Ward and co, the favoritism towards him has been disgraceful. Not saying he wouldnt have won all his fights if there were neutrality, but this is just ****in unfair.

Darryl im not sure why your bitching about this, and frankly thats all you seem to do lately is ***** about black fighters getting discriminated against, it has nothing to do with that, if anything you are the one who is being discriminatory towards black fighters. How could you have missed the threads talking about Bute and fighting at home, particularly the one about that horrible hometown ref Marlon Wright that saved him from a potential ko loss

 

I was under the impression the fights went 1 home 1 away 1 neutral

Froch fought Home vs Dirrel away vs Kessler and NJ USA is neutral turf

Ward is Oakland for all bouts

Abe is 1 home 1 away now gonna be two away

The semi-final are supposed to be in USA. It's a Showtime event.
Ward should have fought abroad in the preliminary stage.

 

Ward making himself look stupid. He really doesn't need all these advantages. He could kick King Arthurs ass any day of the week with Abrahams mum as the referee and 3 Armenians as the judges.

 

It's the California commission that's the issue, not Ward for crying out loud.

You're kind of right but it would be cool if we hear Ward's opinion on this matter too. He should stand for himself, don't you say?
Of course, this is still fresh news but I expect a reaction from Ward that has nothing to do with "Arthur is complaining like a little girl, the Commission is right" ****.
....Even a lack of reaction would say a lot IMO.

 

What does Ward have to do with this?? This is the California Commission trying to pull this, not Ward's team...

 

I suppose that's possible but I really don't know what's happened behind the scenes to speculate on something like that.

 

Ward seems to be able to have everything his own way,seems very unfair.

 

It's time for Ward to man up, the referees for Ward's last three fights have been family members, and some of the judges were casual acquaintances and friends of friends. Ward will get KO'd by Abraham if he is not allowed to use his usual headbutt and hold and repeat tactics.
Enough of this tomfoolery, Abraham will deliver righteous justice on the 14th of May.
