It was the loser of alex/brad who took home the guarantee of 1.25 Million, the Winner took the lions share. The gate was over 6,000 but King probably gave away much of those seats.

Bradley drew 1600 fans in his last home fight. What Bradley evidently fails to realize is what the gate split Khan brings in addition to his guarantee. The Vegas venue can sell out 15,000 tickets and put $7 Million more into the purse. He must have Nacho as his advisor.

We'll always have April, one of the most wild, wicked month we'll ever witness. I could live off these memories for many months but there are some nice fights still coming. The shape boxing is in today it can lose one fight or two.

15,000 seems fairly optimistic. Khan/Maidana only did 4,600 in Vegas.

Khan is not at Ricky Hatton levels of popularity where he can drag a stadium full of fans over to see him. His recent outing in England won't have gained him any more popularity either.

Here we go again then... What on earth is wrong with boxing today? It's took 3 years to get Wlad/Haye, and Pacquiao/Mayweather will never happen. Boxing is pathetic in terms of getting the big fights on. Jheeze..

Is this match that great? Khan will run and box on the outside while Bradley will desperately try to head but him.

Is Gary gonna try to deport Tim like he did to Alfredo Angulo for turning down a big Payday.

I wonder how much was offered to Khan...because if he was offered more money than 1.4 million than I would walk away too.

Khan doesn't want the fight if that's all they can come to the table with.

I understand Khan is the bigger draw. Nevertheless you still need to respect the champion and he deserves his share. Despite his lack of popularity the man again has a good resume & is a unified champion. Just because someone is more popular than you doesn't make it ok for him to treat you like a second rate challenger when you're at the negotiation table. So again I ask how much is Khan making? In other words if you were a 2 belt holder champion. Let's say vitali retired & you won the WBA & WBC title. For a ultimate showdown with Wladimir Klitschko for ultimate HW supremecy would you take a mere 1.8 mill when you know good & well Wlad would probably get 10 times that. I mean I get the point Khan is a bigger draw but 1.8mill. To me he's being treated as if he's a challenger.

How many 50/50 splits do you ever see in big fights? It rarely happens because even if the two fighters are on even footing skill wise, someone is usually the bigger draw. And in this case it's Khan.
