Abraham is dirtier than Ward, he headbutts and throws tons of elbows.

Believe me Ward knows exactly what Goossen is up to. In fact, it was Ward who mandated Goossen not to enter the tournament unless all his fights were at home. It was clear from the behind the scenes 360 stuff that Goossen is by far the most difficult to deal with. It is also the Son of God who chooses to associate with Victor Conte, and the Son of God who puts his head into the face of his opponents. Praise the Lord!

Calzaghe wanted to fight whoever , Hopkins was to fight Calzaghe in America at about 2003 but pulled out by demanding double the money and got sued by Warren, i think that says it all there.
Jones never wanted to fight calzaghe because of the fight being too much of a risk and less reward, plus contractual probs ok sporting circumstance there.

Calzaghe went to Germany to defend his title against Mario Veit whose record was 45-1-0 his only loss before was to calzaghe (Calzaghe fought him a 2nd time cos Veit had earned it and had won 14 wins on the trot and was the mandatory challenger) Veit had beaten Charles brewer and also current champ Brahmer and more.

Calzaghe fought Hopkins and Jones in America beat them both. Sadly both only wanted the fight with Joe when they had nothing to lose and when Joe had his O to lose but he still fought them.

As for Ward hes been allowed everything his own way in this tourney hometown officials etc, the other fighters have obliged and fought in other countries, that is the point people are making (got nothing to do with Calzaghe) You cant blame anybody for taking a **** at Ward. Period

Loving the hate on Ward. Like if any of you were a fighter, and your promoter was able to get you to fight at home all the time, you guys wouldn't.

I can understand why some people feel its unfair for every other fighter has to travel to everyone esles backyard and Ward gets to stay at home and fight people in his backyard fight after fight. Thats understandable and its not fair i feel hes no better then any of the fighters and something should be done about this. i Agree

But ..from what im reading here,I can tell people just want to see Ward take a loss, thats all they really want. You can literally feel the hate some people have for Ward while reading some of their comments. Every other fighter in this tournament has already loss at least once and S.O.G hasnt come close to losing yet. Thats what it really is,they want that 0 to go in Brutal fashion.

You're giving props to Joe for fighting Jones in America when Jones was totally shot to ****, that pretty much says it all about your arguement.

Calzaghe and Ward are actually pretty similar. Both fight in very amateurish styles with little power and want to stay at home. I don't like watching either of them, although Joe was more interesting because atleast he would put himself out there on defense and dare guys to hit him.

I play chess and am classed as a strong Club player rating between 1800 -1900. I play for a club and have played for my county played at home and away, playing away aint no trouble cos its my skills that i depend on over the board. Ward should be thinking like that and fight wherever and whoever and let his boxing skills do the talking. Ward could learn alot from Frochs approach.

I dont hate Ward , i`m just dissapointed with the way things seem to be going in Wards favour ie officials, fighting at home. As a boxing fan i cant give Ward much credit. When i first watched a Ward fight i was impressed, but now not so.

seems like Ward (and his team) is not only dirty in the ring; even if Ward's team backs off and allow a neutral referee, they would have already made some noise and ignited some nervousness in Abraham's camp distracting them from the fight itself; Ward's team is very effective with their poli-tricks; AA needs badly a neutral referee if he wants to still have that rather small chance of winning by KO.

First off, don't compare chess and boxing. And I agree, it shouldn't matter where you fight, but it does have some effect on fighters. I'm pretty sure Froch did a little complaining about the travel or something when he fought Kessler. However, neither of this matters, as it's his ****ing promoters and team who pick where they fight, not Ward.

You say Jones was shot to **** yet loads said he`d school Calzaghe, it went the other way. my argument there is Jones had nothing to lose Calzaghe did yet he still fought Jones in his backyard, Lol Calzaghe was way past his best, his punch power was gone.

Your argument would make more sense if Calzaghe would have KO`d jones but instead he semi schooled Jones with brittle hands. Jones in his prime was fast but still liked his space to think and attack, Prime Calzaghe would never of allowed that with his stamina, workrate and speed.

the point you are missing here is that Lucian Bute is not involved in The Super Six, so the fights are made where the money is. Andre Ward on the other hand is in a tournament with other 5 boxers and he is trying to get the short cut !

I`m not comparing Chess to boxing they are very different physically speaking, though many great boxers also love chess because of the tactics.

My point is let your skills do the talking no matter where or who you fight.

Froch may have complained but still got on with it, his 1st defence was in America, Froch took the chance to show the world, Ward/wards camp aint doing that , they are painting a stale picture.
