:deal It's Bradley's 'promoter' putting this stuff out there which tells us there's something going on there we don't know about.

Bradley's being looking to jump ship for a while now. Change the bloody title Laz!

What was Hopkins' story then? Was this the thing around when he got offered a few mil to fight Calzaghe and he didn't take it.

When a promoter is effectively calling his own fighter a ducker and accusing him of greed there's obviously an underlying issue somewhere.

Especially when you consider that he's repeatedly defended Andre Dirrell of all people..... unless :hey I can't believe I'm suggesting this but maybe Dirrell didn't just want to avoid Ward.....

How were Khans US ratings poor? :huh

Khan-Malignaggi did great ratings, highest since Klit-Arreola the previous year if I recall correctly. Khan-Maidana did well over a million, pretty good for 2 non-Americans and Khan-McCloskey was shown on HBOs highest rated show this year.

Lets just hope Bradley doesn't sign with Top Rank.

Reading some **** on twitter looks like this is HBO's fault. In order to 'force' Bradley-Alexander they contractually promised both guys a return bout on HBO for about $1.3m.

So as Buncey would say Bradley is making a "business decision" here - he's guaranteed that money from HBO so he could fight someone else not as risky as Khan (even though IMO Bradley comfortably handles Khan) and then come back to fight Khan at a later date and hopefully for more money.

We know Shaw's contact was up with Bradley, I dont know the in and out's but Bradley needs to make his mind up if he is sticking with Shaw or not a deal is on the table time is ticking, July 23rd is not too far off, camp should start in around 4weeks from now.

    HBO are idiots :patsch

Does that mean that HBO have to take any opponent Bradley might take and have to then pay for it? Can't be right surely, must be some sort of quality control in there.

Can't be anyone but it doesn't have to be Khan. Alexander's promised comeback is against Matthysse. And HBO can't pull the "fight Khan or **** off" card here at all - they'll have to accept someone.

For a future superstar, the HBO ratings were a disappointment. It's more the venues which sold poorly (which is why I was specific about that). They needed to paper the venues, even in NYC where Malignaggi is a draw.

I wonder if they'll consider Maidana?

I think Matthysse will give Alexander fits.... he was unlucky not to get the decision over Zab.

Hopefully Marquez will be in the picture in the summer before the blockbuster with Pacquiao late this year.

The Chosen is spot on. I was a big Bradley coming up but he got caught up in the politics.

    For a future superstar?

How where they in the slightest bit disappointing? Should he have beaten Cotto in the ratings in his US debut or something? Obviously HBO were very disappointed with his ratings to give him a new multi-fight contract.

Apart from Mayweather and Pac nobody sells out venues in the US at the moment. Khan has done pretty well for himself in the US really.
