I want judah to face marquez, khan vs bradley needs to happen now, I guess they will keep negotiating, the judah thing is just to put pressure on bradley.

Steve Kim tweeted that there was only a marginal difference between the amount Bradley was already guaranteed for an HBO return and the $1.4 million for this fight in particular. So in addition to potential contract problems with Shaw, Bradley might also have the incentive to take an easy fight now for his HBO return and see if the network sweetens the deal for a Khan fight later on.

    1.4 milly

    -40% taxes,payments etc.

~800k $ for khan who outside the us isnt known that much is good money. I mean the promoters still ripping him of, because if this bout is well advertised ppv shouldnt be so bad, but timmy get a % of ppv also, or not?

Given recent events I would be very hard-pressed to believe that any fight would be made with Top Rank if you are not a Top Rank fighter....Arum has proven it time and time again

I agree with you whole-heartedly, but never underestimate blinding stupidity brought on by greed. Timothy Bradley is a great fighter, but a big draw he is not, some one needs to give this guy a reality check....Hell Shaw had to use Alfredo Angulo as leverage to guarantee Fathead some HBO time in the beginning.....The guy is great, but he has no star power. He should ask for ask for 2 mil, then negotiate to some where in the middle of 2 mil and 1.4

Well if the bradley fight doesnt happen. Judah is the next best option at 140.

    YES, HE DID!!!!

He said it was because he wants more money from it, but Bradley turned down the fight.

HBO's already locked into paying Bradley over $1 million (likely over 1.2) for his next fight anyway as a result of the Alexander deal. Bradley may reasonably think he should take that money for an easy summer fight and then see if he gets a better promotional deal since he'll be a free agent and a better TV offer to fight Khan.

everyone here is overreacting. Anyone who thought that the deal would get signed right off the bat is an idiot. These kind of 50/50 fights always take some negotiating before they get down.

Khan might be the bigger draw but Bradley is the higher ranked fighter. Khan wants to be the man at 140 he has no choice but to go through TB.

Judah hasn't done **** recently but beat Mabuza at 140 and a questionable decision against Mathysse. Judah vs Marquez makes more sense. With TB vs Khan. Either of the winners can face Pacquiao

1.4 million is a very fair offer to Tim. WTF is he thinking?
