Look at Mosley's KO Record vs The best he fought. 8 Fights - 0 Knockouts
Overall 0 wins and 6 Loses to Cotto, Floyd, Winky and Vernon.

Mosley is not powerful vs fighters that have good movement. in fact he tires quicker and loses his power early on.

2 Fights w/ ODLH - Only 2 wins vs these 5 fighters in 8 fights, both vs ODLH
    2 Fights w/ Winky Wright -
    2 Fights w/ Vernon Forrest
    1 Fight w/ Cotto
    1 Fight w/ Mayweather

    Guess Margarito doesn't count?

Mosley's style matches best with fighters that fight, he's a great counter puncher, Pac will give him that fight and it should make for some good action. He doesn't do the best with guys who are defense first, best with guys willing to trade, so the upcoming fight may be good afterall.

No. Can't be considered Elite (Hand wraps) or at least this argument is about "Movement" clearly the fighters I listed are the best in terms of defensive skills and footwork

Margarito is a big stationary target.

All of those fighters have something in common. They are all skilled boxers, 3 of which are bigger and longer than Shane. It has nothing to do with good movement. Winky Wright does not have good movement, neither did Forrest, DelaHoya or Cotto. Styles make fights. The commonalities in style/attribute amidst these fighters gives Shane trouble. Manny shares none of those attributes.

Margarito was the #1 WW and a man people said Mayweather went into retirement to avoid. Revisionism, handwraps or not.

I don't buy that argument because Margarito is longer than Shane and Cotto has good movement.

I refuse to give Margarito credit for his wins vs Cotto and Cintron when he did not take his gloves off after the fight until he was out of sight.

Would you consider Margarito as talented a pure boxer as Winky, Forrest, DeLaHoya, Mayweather or Cotto? I don't think so. There is nothing special about Cotto's movement. Mayweather is the only person on that list with good movement. The others are relatively flatfooted fighters.

Absolutely. I am pulling for Shane to beat Pac. I just have a hard time seeing how this will be done.
