yup arthur cant fight going back thats for sure, hes gotta rely on counters catching ward as he comes in, inside i mean roughing things up might backfire, its better to keep arthur at distance

Doesn't matter what Ward's people try - AA will KTFO the SOG

...ok, I'm not 100% sure about this - but dreamin' should be allowed :)

I cant understand why they want a Californian ref. I didnt read anything to say it was Ward who made this request and it says W Sauerland did agree to one Californian judge. Why the judge couldnt just be American instead Californian, I dont know. Still with Ward it has become a bit of a joke in that all of the other original Super 6 fighters have been willing to travel yet Ward has had all of his fights in California, where Kessler got told to let Ward go and warned for head use whilst being held and butted

Unfortunately this tournament was doomed from the beginning. It simply wasn't organized well enough to be the kind of star building mega-event it could have been.

They should have held the entire tournament in Vegas or AC.

They should have set up a strict fight schedule, and stuck to it. If for any reason your opponent can't make a certain pre-arranged fight date, you get 2 points, and advance on a by.

The round robin portion of the tournament should have had 3 fights on each card with no more than 3 months between cards.

Four months after the conclusion of the round robin, hold the semi-finals,

Hold the final 4 months after the semi-final.

All debates over money, venue, scheduling, judges, and referees should been settled, and cast in stone, before the first bell rang.

Ward already cheated in one fight in California now he is trying to do it again. Hopefully for the sake of boxing somebody knocks him out, where is Lucian Bute?

The tournament has been a little bit of a little down with the set backs, but for the most part it has been good for boxing.

It has weeded out a lot of the top ten no doubt.

Think about it: Would Arthur Abraham still be fighting in Germany against sub par opposition?

Would Andre Ward be as recognized? (Note: It is a big problem that Ward has fought at home, but the way he dismantled Kessler was no joke)

    Where would Carl Froch be?

Glen Johnson fighting for another payday/belt at a lower weight class

This tournament has to be put into perspective. It's easy to point out all the negative outcomes, but think of the positives. I think they outweigh the bad.

Wards quickly becoming the most hated fighter on earth next to Mayweather because he's a spoiled little ***** who won't fight without being given every conceivable advatage over opponents he could beat on the level. Bull**** cowardly moves by team ward

I agree with you, but I was just responding about the tournament being a 'dud'.

The Bika fight was not part of the Super Six at all. Ward chose Bika as a keep busy fight. Ward was given 2 points for NOT fighting Dirrell.

As for traveling to fight replacements, Froch has to do that in his next fight. If it is as "Plain and Simple" as being assured a "solid crowd" there is no reason that fight couldn't be in Nottingham.

I've only read the first page but WTF is wrong with you people? AA has been exposed not just as a B+ fighter, but as a ****** ass cry baby. This is one of the weakest ****ing displays I've ever seen, and I'm astonished that any boxing fan would buy into this bull****. AA has proven to be a ***** and I can't believe anyone would defend this stupid ****. There is one official from California...ONE, get the **** out of here, GAY!

I hate Ward because he's a ****ing disgrace. I was extremely impressed with him after his dominant performance over Kessler, but guess what? He clearly has placed this demand to Goosen and/or Showtime to have all his fights in his own back yard. Don't play ****ing naive and think Goosen just pulled this **** out of a hat for him without him demanding it as a requirement to be in the tourney. That's nonsense. Do you see Goosen making these hometown demands for anyone else in his stable?

For the record the Commission decides who the officials are, so where are all the "whatever the commission says it what goes" ***gots? I mean the State commission of CA decide the officials etc. It's not Ward or his team, which is clearly outlined in the article, so I'm not sure what the **** this has to do with Ward. Furthermore, it's irrelevant where they fight, as he has clearly beat the **** out of his opponents, when he gets a Froch vs Dirrell type win, then ***** about where the fight is, as of now where he's fighting has been irrelevant. He's been the better fighter, regardless of location, there's really no debating that.
