did he make the move to GBP? I never felt he was on the same level as Morales, Barrera or Marquez. He lost some respect from me as he seemed to ***** out on fighting Rios. That being said I would like to see him in an All-Mexican war against Morales or Marquez. Soto vs Morales and Soto vs Marquez make it happen Oscar how would those fights go?
Its still unknown if he moved to GBP. Soto KO's Morales, Barrera, Marquez all in the same year, but all 3 have ducked him since 2007. Soto could KO Rios so easily, but doesnt want to show off his fierce punching style by wacking Rios right now, which is why he set him aside for the moment. Its gonna be very hard to get JMM, EM to step in the ring with Soto, cause they know how brutal he is. Rios doesnt know how brutal Soto can be, which is why Rios opens his mouth without thinking, and has been the only one to call out Soto. Its not smart business for Soto to KO Rios now, cause Soto will be even more avoided, than he already is now.
Sergio Martinez is looking for an opponent right now. Soto should just fight him, he'd knock him out in two rounds.
Soto has worked his way to the top and has taken a very hard road. He deserves the big fights but he probably will not get them cause he is high risk low reward despite being very exciting.
What I want to know is why Soto is still ducking Mercito Gesta. Mercito has been calling out Soto since 2007 in english and spanish. Soto all of the sudden doesnt speak spanish. why did this guy fight like Clottey against Antillon? I mean he could have knocked him the **** out? but he was lacking will in that fight. Antillon had more heart, but Soto more skill
Soto is a ''Good''not ''Great '' fighter. He has looked very medipcer at light weight. juan manuel marquez would knock him out at the weight. Morales maybe. Barerra by a wide decision or late Ko at lightweight. No one ducks Soto !
