Soto's problem is that he isn't a lightweight. He should be at 130. He is no longer able to muscle his opponents around the ring. His power didn't carry up to 135 either. These guys are walking through his best shots.

He dropped Diaz in the 1st round, which is somethingb no one had ever done before. soto could've KOd Diaz in the 1st round had he wanted to, but "played possum" so that he can lure the big names into fighting him and not duck him. JMM doesnt want to fight Soto, and has avoided Soto since '07, just like Pac has ducked Soto since '06.

He's gonna fight in early June in Mexico, against a nobody, and he's gonna fake his performance and "play possum" and box daniel estrada to a 12 round boring lackluster decision, so that he can try to convince Pac, JMM, MAB, and/or EM to fight him next, and not fear his punching power.
all three have avoided Soto since '07. last year, MAB and EM wanted to become the 1st mexicans to win a 4th divisional title, so the WBC made EM mandatory contender to Soto's WBC 135lbs title, but EM turned down the offer. Same thing with MAB, he too turned down a shot at Soto's title, but would rather fight "Titere" Vazquez, than fight Soto.
Thats the only way Guzman can fight Soto, by cheating with low blow, dancing, squatting down like a scared chicken, running, etc.
Soto fakes his performances and could KO anyone in the 135lbs in the 1st round if he wanted to, but doesnt, cause he wants to get the big name fights, and cant cause they all fear his brutal crippling punching power.
Soto was a better fighter at Fw and JL... Hes a solid fighter but IMO i think there are several LWs that beat him... Marquez,Rios would probably stop him Guerrero,Vasquez would beat him.,.. Id make him an Acosta even money.. If Baby Bull has anything left hed have a shot.. So would barrera.. IMO Soto is maybe on the downslide.. I thought David Diaz gave him a tough fight by coming on in the mid rounds, and he barely beat Antillon.. Hes ready to be taken.
