    Naazim:

“He’s got great ring generalship. He’s got movement, speed, power, one-punch power, combination punching. He has everything except height and range"

Does this mean Mosley will be utilizing his height and reach advantages to the max?

Mosley isn't good at fighting tall and doesn't have a world class jab to do so, the height/reach will still help if hes going to land first though. Pacquaio has problems in-fighting and his defense isn't too tight, Pacquaio is pretty far from 'having everything'

So it's just one of those pre-fight psy war? Most posters here believe Mosley will fight inside and clinch as oppose to fighting tall outside.

Mosley needs to be on the inside and outside of Manny at all times. Stay out of that mid-range and apply feints and take steps back in angles. He must make Manny over extend himself and fall in to try and land his shots. Also if Mosley has it in him he needs to time Manny as he leans to the left and throws when his opponents are jabbing but instead of jabbing throw a left hook up stairs or to the liver. Tie his left arm up at times and shoot shots to that liver and border line low blows when the ref is out of position.

In his earlier career he had a very impressive jab. Even against Oscar in the first fight he had a stiff jab and landed way more of them then Oscar did

Mosley doesn't have a great inside game either in my opinion, and there is no way he can beat Pac with his usual game, so I absolutely think that Nazim will have Mosley utilize his reach.

This is in my opinion the right gameplan, especially if he approaches it the same way BHop fought Calzaghe, but I'm not sure Mosley can effectively utilize this type of fight.

While Mosley has slowly gone through a fundamental transformation, I think his relfexes are not what they used to be, and at age 38 or 39, he's too set in his ways to go through this type of fundamental overhaul of his skills and technique.

Nazim is trying to turn Mosley into an intelligent boxer that utilizes his reach. He's likely going to keep Mosley on the outside and try to catch Pac coming in with straight right hands and tie him up when he gets close.

The problem is that Pac is likely too fast with his hands and feet to let Mosely set himself properly to do this.

Even so, Oscar tried that but Pacquiao managed to keep his distance.

I'll go on record and say there is NO ****ing way Nazim's plan is for Mosley to infight with Pac.

His plan A) is box from the outside and counter.

Plan B) is tie him up.

Now, Mosley may go for broke and try to fight him inside, but Pac is just going to counter the **** outta him or outspeed him.

Naz been sucking up to Pacquiao for a long time now. Maybe he wants Pacquiao to take it easy on Shane.

I can't see how Mosley wins this fight. I can't see him get on his bicycle and fighting on the outside, if he tries this he'll be exhausted by round 6, Manny applies too much pressure and closes the distance too easy for that to be successful.

If he fights inside and tries to clinch and mug Manny, he'll be busted and bruised up by round 6.

Mosleys plan should be to bum rush Manny, drop bombs, and try to get Manny out of there early.

Mosley needs to go to Pac's body early and often. No bombs, just sharp, effective shots.

True! I also think he needs to mix up his shot. Touch Manny with some not so hard **** at times, and then explode with some nice power on his ass. Keep his head on the outside of Manny on the inside and go to that liver.

Nazim said it before the mayweather fight.... the strategy most fighters use against Pac is wrong... they're fighting smaller guy but instead of using their reach advantage they go in trying to kop the smaller pacman....and it never works.... you got to fight pac on the outside....even cotto showed in some rounds pac struggles against a good jab...... only problem.... shane doesn't have a stiff jab

Mosley doesn't have the skill to box Pac from the outside. He lacks the jab and footwork not to mention the ring IQ. His best chance is to use his superior size and strenght to bully pac to the ropes, hold and rough up Pac and beat him up on the inside. Pac isn't a great fighter on the inside and doesn't like it to the body either. If he can hurt Pac early on to the body like he did Margo it could set the tone for the rest of the fight. He must hold Pac disrupt his rhythm, frustrate him beat him up when close in order to have a chance. If he stays on the outside and in the middle of the ring he will get owned.
