Laz, Well done for keeping this whole Bradley v Khan malarkey on one thread.:good Wish others could follow your lead sir!
I think big fights are rarely as simple as splitting 100% in 2 but that doesn't stop people providing endless suggestions of 50/50, 55/45, 60/40 etc etc like they are coming up with some ingenious solution to the negotiations.....
Numerous sources, biggles. It helps if you have a few well respected people on Twitter, you can find out a lot - That place is just a gold mine for 24/7 news. - Thanks, Scotty :good. I think after seeing how annoying Maxwell's constant threads can be, we all should take a think before we post a new thread - SS is a prime example, Wallet. There's many others, if you look around. --------------------------------------------------------- I'm very curious as to whether it's down to money or a term that's being shifted in by Gary Shaw that Bradley doesn't like. The thing is, Steve Kim and Dan Raffy have both said it's the money and that if a little more is put forward, then Bradley will probably bite. Hope we hear something very soon.
Suprised Khan went with 50-50. Don't think Bradley is big business even in his own home. I'm glad Khan did it to ensure the fight happens. Bradley best not create a Pac-Floyd scenario.
I think Khan really thinks he can win this one, you can tell by the way he speaks when Bradley is mentioned. Think Bradley then Judah to properly unify the division then move up to 147. Khan mentioned on twitter recently to Judah's twitter that he wants to face the winner of him and Marquez if he gets past Bradley which is no easy task.
How Stupid does Bradley have to be not to take this fight if its a 50/50 deal on the table. He's fighting a marquee name who'll put asses in seats (I would go as far as saying Khan Probably has more pull even in America than Bradley) The British PPV figure would be through the roof A market that Bradley has never tapped into. This will easily be his biggest payday of his career short of fighting pacquiao and also what happened to wanting to be the best im so sick and tired of fights not happening because of stupid contract disagreements FFS there was once a time when the best wanted to face the best
Amazing. If it was Khan who refused to sign, he and his team would be branded as money-hungry ****s. But since it's Timmy who's not happy, it's actually the wise decision and the promoter's fault. And what's more funny, is that despite it being confirmed that Timmy's not signing, Khan's team are still being blamed for it by some people here (lol). 50/50 sounds like a very reasonable deal, especially considering he can't draw ****, and he doesn't even deserve to be holding the contract that HBO have given him in the first place. But **** it, as a Khan fan, I'd be more than happy if the fight doesn't happen next. It gives Khan more time to iron out his flaws with another keep-busy fight.
