It's only general forum ******s who are saying it's Khan's fault. Please don't tar us with the same brush.

I've noticed a few of the Brit posters in this very thread attributing the blame on Khan's side without any hesitation. And this is despite Bradley's promoter and impartial journalists confirming that the stumbling block is on Bradley's side, who aren't too happy with the 50/50 deal.

I'm not blaming Timmy for doing this. It appears as though he's trying to exploit and make the most out of a very generous HBO deal, by saving the challenging Khan fight for another date where he'll make more money. This is a good business decision according to most people on here. But I wonder if they'd feel the same way if it was Khan who was doing this?

The double standards, even in the Brit forum, amuses me.

There's no doubt 70% of these guys would be criticising Amir if he was to be in the position Bradley is putting himself in.

I haven't noticed anyone on here blame it on Khan. If they do, they've obviously got an agenda. I think that the main stumbling block is Bradley's possible extension to Shaw, I don't know the in's and out's of it though. I think it's ridiculous for anyone to call 'duck' with this one. To me it seems like both fighters are up for it, it's just Bradley wants it when it makes the most sense (like he did with Alexander). The fact that people take offence to that it is wrong, as I've said before... this is professional boxing.

the ones who are saying it in the brit forum you just have to look at their post history to see if their opinion counts or not.

as for shaw saying bradleys doesn't want to fight theres something seriously wrong with that!

a promoter is like your solicitor, he is supposed to be on your side no matter what, if bradley thought the offer wasn't good enough as a promoter shaw is supposed to send golden boy a counter offer.

golden boy would never do that with one of their fighters, even when floyd made the drug tests demands out of nowhere and the world was screaming floyds ducking gbp stuck by there fighter.

either someone made that up about shaw or he is a ****ed up person.

Sounds like typical "the world is against Amir Khan" theory, Laz...

Couldn't be bothered going through the whole thread, but here's one:

And that's coming from one of the decent posters here.

Totally agree. The notion that Bradley is 'scared' of Khan, is obviously ridiculous. If he passes up the fight, it'll be motivated purely by business reasons - which to most people on here, is ok because it's Bradley.

Yes there is something wrong with it. Either Bradley genuinely passed up on the opportunity to save it for a more rewarding time, or Shaw is exhibiting his grade A dickheadedness by making his soon-to-be departing fighter look bad.

even if bradley said no i dont want to fight khan a promoter is supposed to promote his fighter and find the excuses for him, not say my fighter is scared.

Which is why many regard Shaw as being on of the biggest assholes in boxing. I personally think Bradley's relationship with him has strained over the last 12 months or so, and Shaw's not happy with him looking to break free from his clutches.

To be fair to Shaw, it must have pissed him off that Arum and GBP both have openly courted Timothy.

I am however, not disagreeing that he is an *******. That said, my estimation of him rose a little when he didn't defend Dirrell over his "injury".
