Im sick of all the glass jaw ***gots round here. Lets talk about tough fighters for a change. Lets talk about the warriors.

    Having a iron chin isn't all about genetics....its about pride.....character....iron will...toughness....background....and determination...

Who has Pirog faced to call him iron chinned? Same with Froch who has rocked by Dirrell.

    It's? Mind explaining this one?

Froch isn't iron-chinned either. Very overrated chin.

Put Joe Calzaghe in that mix, he may have gone down from punches but he's never visibly been shaken by them, in every instance he went down in the fight, he dominated the next round too.

I think the strongest chins in boxing EVER, has to be in this order:-

    1. Oliver McCall
    2. Vitali Klitschko
    3. David Tua (went down a notch or two cause Barrett knocked him down)

Glen Johnson's chin is truly absurd and I'd rate him over Tua and Klitschko currently. The guy hasn't been visibly shaken since the first Clinton Administration.

I agree that his chin isn't proven, but I picked him cause he processes the same mentality Denis Lebedev does. He has character, will, determination and he has a style that only the tough fighters could fight in...

    Sure.

Background plays a huge roll in a fighters determination and willingness, which in turn leads to tough chins and strong guards.

For example, lets take Tomasz Adamek for example...

Tomasz grew up without a father(died at age 2). Tomasz fought toughman Paul Briggs with a broken nose, for his first ever title shot, which in turn he won. Tomasz also took a gamble, and moved to the USA to more so furthur his career.....most Euro fighters try and make thier name in Europe(Michalczewski, Calzaghe etc..) and hold on to a title there, rather so comming to the Mecca of boxing (USA)

    Thats Tomasz's background....

Lets take Denis Lebedev for example...

Denis grew up being a poor kid in nearby Moscow. He found a knack in boxing in a young age....after 4 years of boxing professionally, he quit in 2004 due to his career ending in the wrong direction. He departed away with his team cause he didn't like where his career was going and disagreements in his team. After a 4 year layoff, Lebedev was watching a few Povetkin fights on TV...He suddenly became hooked and called Alexander, in which he hooked him up with his manager, Vladimir Hryunov. A rejuvenated Lebedev is 8-1(8 KOs) since his comeback..... And if you know much or not, most, if not ALL boxing observes will say Lebedev got ROBBED vs. Marco Huck. This guy is a true iron chinned career cause his character is so powerful, he will not accept to get knocked out so easily.

    Vitali Klitschko...

Klitschko was born in poor E. Europe and took fighting to get away from crime... He fought in kickboxing in his early childhood and even became a K1 champion... He fought several hard fights in kickboxing and even got his ass kicked a few times. Without the tough background he endured early in his career, he might not of been the same fighter he is today....

Here is a picture of Vitali fighting Prezmyslaw Saleta during his time whislt staying in Poland pursuing his kickboxing career. He lost later lost vs. Przemek Saleta.

Background plays a huge roll in a fighters success.

And yes, Froch has a real good chin, don't exaggerate. He has a style in which he HAS to have a good chin. Froch can take a punch, there is no doubt about that.

Riddick had one of the best chins in HW history. His heart and determination in the Golota fights were astonishing. His determination alone won those fights.
