    I believe in 1981 a young promoter by the name of Frank Warren, so annoyed by the BBB of C, set up the rival National Boxing Council (NBC), that would lead to the BBB of C having to back down and recognize WBA title fights in this country.

    Of course this thread was cleverly thought of because of a link with today's events.

    Pomp and circumstance was abound as the Macho Man won his first pro title this year when he picked up the NABF 130lbs title, beating one Blaine Dickson...
