Wow I feel differently now on Trinidad. I'll always respect him but I cut him off my fan list so I can follow more fighters that I like easier. No point in calling one a fan if they don't follow their people.

I do feel the same way in feeling that Napoles would've beat Trinidad. Switch eras and Trinidad has a tougher time too but a 147 he still was a killer regardless.

I don't fancy many welterweights to be able to stand and take Tito's shots for long, but Napoles is probably one that has the whiskers to do it. With his own arsenal in mind and Tito's porous defense, you'd have to think that Napoles will get the better of it and give Tito a good beating over the distance. Probably an 10-5 type of fight, but one that becomes pretty foreseeable once each man acclimatises to the other's shots.

Course, trading openly with an opponent with little regard for defence was foremost among Napoles' primary strategies.

Certainly wasn't, but I'll give Trinidad the credit to suggest that he'd force Napoles to do it quite a bit of the time. In any case, there will at the very least be a moment of truth in the fight where Napoles has to eat some shots and suck it up to get through.
