Can't wait to see Haye knock out Wlad, boring ass robotic fighter which will shake in his boots as soon as he feels Haye's power. OP is right, Haye is in his head and Wlad wont be his cagey self which means one thing only... Haye will knock him out. Also these pizza pictures are meant to be making fun of Haye but to me it shows how stupid Wlads trash talking is and if anyone calls it an upset after Haye knocks him out then you are dumb as ****.
There's no way such a limited fighter like Mayorga would have done what he did without mind games. Without getting inside Forrest's head, he would simply not have won that fight and that is, by far, his greatest career achievement. A lot of times for Mayorga, it simple didn't work because he wasn't good enough. However, it gave him his crowning moment as a fighter.
Can understand Tyson opponents being a bit wary with a plethora of 1-3 rd ko's behind him. Maybe Haye's demolition of Valuev will worry Wlad in the same way?
Care to explain how will "psychological advantage" transform into more skills on Haye's part and less on Wlad's? Bull****. Psychological advantage didn't beat Hatton or De La Hoya, Floyd's skills did, nor did it help Mayorga vs. Tito, Mosley, Cotto or Oscar. If Haye knocks Wlad out it's because he found found a way through Wlad guard like Sanders and the same goes the other way around, but believe whatever you want to believe, you are allowed.
There are more pressure on Wlad, more pride at stake and more face to lose. If Wlad has the mental weakness his dislikers like to believe, this is where it should surface. But Wlad knows what Haye is trying to do. He wont change his style due to it.
It's not going to make him more talented. Don't be flippant. What it could do, is force Wlad to be more aggressive which would play into Haye's hands, as he's best as a counter puncher. If Wlad is allowed to box, he wins. If Haye can force Wlad to chase him, he has a much better chance of scoring the upset.
I bet any money Wlad fans will be more nervous fight night then Haye fans. Wlad prods fat heavy weights with his jab for 12 rounds, wait till hes in the ring with a fast and hungry fighter like Haye who will be hard to hit with that jab, don't get me wrong Wlad can land with that big right and knock Haye out but i dont see him landing. Haye will jump in with explosive and fast punchs and take Wlad out. ESB fan boys go in melt down while everyone else are glad the over hyped giant twat can stop killing the sport.
I mostly agree here. Haye is feeding on Wlad's complexes - he appears to have some (at least to some extent), like that he's "hiding" behind his older brother, is too delicate and nice, always smiled and polite and that he fights in a boring, safety-first style. When they're face to face, it seems to me that Haye is a bit more confident. However, if it's about all the years lasting build-up, Haye is a mean, dirty playing sob while Wlad genuinely wants to be cultural and fair. The dislike between them seems genuine and mutual and Wlad is not a child, he's intelligent. Hard to say how this anger will affect him in the end, all is possible.
Wlad already said he'll "jab jab grab" for 12 so there goes Haye's "psychological advantage", Wlad had a good laugh about it and went back doing his regular training. How far Sam Peter's trash talk took him exactly? Does Wlad look like an emotional fighter in there? If anyone needs to try something spectacular it's Haye, he talked so much now he'll have to back it up and not by backing up. This is sweet science not punching psychology.
I'm the deluded one :nut. I'll talk to you July 3rd when Wlad jabs the face off Haye until Haye has nothing left and knocks him out. Boxers have forced fighters to fight out of their comfort zone, but that changes in the ring and not because of the pre fight "mind games" shite. The boxer doesn't go in there to fight a brawl but the brawler may drag him into one. Duran dragged Ray Leonard into a war IN the ring.
don't be silly. He's a professional, once the bell rings Wlad will be in the boardroom. He will do it his way.
