Haye has a clear psychological edge over Wlad

Haye was always guna win the war of words, hes a better **** talker than Vlad. Whether or not he will of done enough to actually cause Vlad to change his fighting style and hang his chin out trying to hurt Haye straight from the off i doubt it.

I'm pretty sure Wlad has been angry before at opponents, infact I know he has. Chris Byrd for sure and probably Sam Peter.

I'm not talking about Haye - Wlad, I am talking about psychological advantages in general. I think it's just as ridiculous to suggest they don't exist, as it is to suggest that they do exist. Can you really say that a fighter has never been scared by their opponent, or an opponents actions pre-fight, and this has not affected their performance? Nerves are a huge matter for a fighter, if a fighter is too tense or nervous, they can be thrown off their game massively, and can even waste energy and vital stamina by being too tense, which directly affects their fighting ability. If one guy is shouting his mouth off pre-fight, and this angers his opponent, it is perfectly understandable for them to be nervous and in the wrong state of mind going into a fight, which alters their performing ability as a result.

Maybe it's impact is exaggerated, but it's existence is apparent IMO.

 

I think you are most likely right, Waldimir is mad, but that dosen't mean Haye can beat a mad Klitschko.
It's only showing desperation on the part of David Haye with all the big talk hes doing. Talk don't win fights, Haye may think he can do a Ali/Foreman style of fight, but that wont work with Waldimir....

 

You know you cant have an intellectual debate with Klit fans, they are worse than religious fanatics. But I agree with you, Wladimir doesnt like pressure inside or outside of the ring and Haye has pressured him on the outside already. And I believe he will pressure him on the inside as well. A jab won't knock Haye out, but a Haye left hook CAN knock Wladimir out. So we'll see, either way, it should be a great fight.
