Pacquiao with a close, but clear decision.

Manny will be well aware of that. The plan will be to keep working, not spark him.

Manny can do that all night, especialy when he doesn't have too much to worry about coming back at him, though I imagine he'll taste some sharp, crisp right hands.

Floyd has little punch variety as well. His left hand is not the most cultured.

    As I say, overrated.

The only way to beat Pacquiao is to punch with him, using the subtle movements that Slip outlined in another thread.

Floyd can do that, better than JMM can, but he won't counter the left hand..... plus Pac's little side by side movements will keep him thinking. He looked brilliant against old ass Shane, but the 2000 Shane would make him fight for 36 mins and be hitting him with big shots.

Only the granite chinned/bigger men survived with Shane.

Bottom line - if Floyd fancied it the fight would have happened by now, perhaps twice. He fails to realise that all GREAT fighters lose :deal

    'Spastic mentalist' :good

But yes, I think he is, 'one of the best defensive fighters if all time' and 'top 25 fighters ever' gets bandied about a bit with Floyd from what I've seen, and I don't agree at all. His resume is thin and he's has some uninspiring performances, regardless of your views on what The Sweet Science should entail (and I really do enjoy a massive variety of styles), he just hasn't impressed me that much.

    :rofl :rofl :good

Considering his opposition, his defence is quality but has never impressed me in the way Locche or Benitez has. Or even in the way Roberto Duran has.
