How do you think the late Edwin valero would have done against marquez at 135?

    Someone by K.O.
More than likley it would be Marquez knocked out.
(Due to styles this is "Baby Bull" but with Power & southpaw to boot)

    Sucks we wont ever know.

What a great fight this would've been. A total war with Marquez getting knocked down as usually, winning a SD.

marquez is a fighter and a boxer..
the man can adapt to most fighters and break the opponents down..
valero had very good work rate and great power, but he did not face any great opponents to prove he was on a certain level..unfortunately!

It would have been an interesting match up for sure..

Katsidis is too wide. Katsidis is similar to that glass jawed Brit Hatton except Kat has better chin but both are tough pressure forward fighters.

The only similarities with Valero and Kat is the aggresive come forward pressure style. Valero has better skills with good timing and sharper stronger 1 punch KO power.

You must not know about boxing if you think it would look anything similar to that fight, Katsidis is not the boxer Valero was.

Agreed... Valero deceptively good boxing ability and speed. A fight with Marquez would've been interesting to say the least... and Valero was tough as nails. I think he may have been able to stop Marquez.

So yal think Valero would stop Marquez when he has all that Pacquioa experience!! So was Valero some how better than Pac? Are you kidding me!! I dont know if yal are overhyping Valero's potential or people continue to underrate JMM...

This shouldnt even be a discussion. Marquez gets knocked down, makes an adjustment, then goes on to dominate and possably KO Valero depending on how is chin holds up to sharp accurate combos from Jaun. Of course we dont know how tough Valero was because we never saw him take big punishment...
