If Salido repeats and beats Lopez again, will it be the end for Lopez's career or can he come back and become Champ again? To be honest, I think Salido is going to beat Lopez again and this time by knockout. Salido is a very tough, dangerous opponent with a granite chin and with above average power. I don't feel that Lopez has the boxing ability that Gamboa has to " adjust " and outbox Salido and his braveness will only get him in trouble again.

Will Lopez have any chance left in his career if Salido beats him again in October ? :good

I'll be pissed if that happens because it will completely derail any chance for a Gamboa/JuanMa fight, which I still really want to see, and I think will definitely happen if JuanMa beats Salido in the rematch.

Yeah, he could still have a career, but more of a journeymen type, or a "great fighter that never was" shadow over top of him for a long time. Vernon Forrest beat Mosley twice, and Mosley has recovered in his career.
Lopez showed me nothing in there fight that suggests he should fight Salido right now though. I just don't think he has enough power against Salido, and he's not ready to box smart yet it seems.

If Lopez doesn't beat Salido, then that means he'll have the same limited skillset and likely won't progress further. He would probably face Gamboa anyway but with much less promotion and as a contender as opposed to a serious H2H threat.

If Juanma is focused he will win. Weight ? May be a problem at 126 if he put on 50 pound between fight. There are definitly questions about Juanma.

I think that loss just proves that Gamboa can beat Juanma.

If Salido beats JML again then that just means that he was never as good and everybody needs to lower their expectations. I think JML will win the rematch very convincingly.

You really gotta give Salido the respect he gave Gamboa his toughest fight and upset Juanma even tho I think it was a premature stoppage Juanma was in bad shape and looked like he was going to get stopped anyways. I would prefer a Gamboa-Salido rematch now that was a good fight. In the meantime, Juanma should regroup and take an easy challenge.

Gamboa beat up on salido like the Van Van hit on their drums, it wasn't even close, as a matter of fact Salido was koed in the final round and Gamboa estupidity cost him that KO, if he deserve a rematch is for the sole fact that he didn't fake after been hit on the ground, the result will b the same, Arum stop the recycle $hit.

I favor Salido in a rematch though Lopez still has a chance to win. The first fight was NOT a fluke and as Lopez did even against Concepcion and Marquez, he relied on his size and power to finally stop his opponents and that it's okay to block, parry, and/or clinch(not too much clinching but say if he was stunned) during tough times in the ring. I actually like watching JML so it would be sad to see his career ended so soon especially while he has time to recover though he's been doing what he's been accustomed to for a few years now so turning his style around is near impossible now. Maybe it was best that Gamboa/JML didn't happen as Gamboa would've crushed him. Too much speed and Gamboa can adapt unlike JML.
