Rafael says he wished Vitali-Briggs went 15 instead of 12

    Rafael was talking **** about Briggs in his chat today, and then subsequently had it censored. While Briggs hasn't said very nice things about him, the fact that Dan would stoop to his level and then subsequently edit out the evidence in his chat reflects very poorly on him.

    The edited out exchange was:
    CHOPPER (brooklyn): Seriously, Briggs's behavior of late toward you and others made me glad that Vitali annihilated him, when previously I had a bit of when previously I had a bit of sympathy for him.
    Dan Rafael: It made me wish the fight had been 15 rounds instead of 12.

    You can see evidence for the exchange by searching for italicized phrases on Google. Although they aren't cached on the site, you can see clearly that this exchange was clearly recorded in the chat before being edited out. A subsequent person told him it wasn't very nice and Rafael said "It wasn't meant to be" and then promptly ended the chat. While I don't hate Dan as much as many people on the forum, this kind of professionalism makes me think he doesn't deserve to have the HBO job.

    This fat piece of **** needs to be humbled. Really disgrace and unprofessional... and constantly. This isn't a one time incident.

    I hate that fat turd. The fact that fight went 12 was gruesome enough. I'd like to of seen his fat AZZ out there. He is a pig that hates Shannon because Briggs called out being ripped off by his payment.

    Too bad he don't box, he is busy getting KO'd by the buffet line.

    That's basically him hoping to see Briggs' killed in a boxing ring or permanently injured. It's sickening to see a fat disgusting out of shape writer like this wish that upon an accomplished professional athlete especially when this writer knows very well what these fighters go through to reach their level.

    For the most part Dan Rafeal boxing coverage is good. But this is very unprofessional of him to say the least.

    We aren't professionals though, what he did was unprofessional. It is like wishing a driver crashes during a race or a swimmer forgets to swim.

    TBH It's personal it's Briggs and Rafael, I think he can say what he wishes, we don't think Fat Dan is particularly impartial anyway so let him and Briggs have their little war of words. Shame it was censored though.
