even after his win against berto, victor ortiz isn't ranked no where near the top as p4p

say victor and lil floyd laced up and victor was able to pull off the win, how high would his stock go up on the p4p list

how would the list then look

 

big IF there. would like to see him fight one of Khan/Bradley/Judah/Maidana first before he is fully redeemed in my eyes.

Obviously beating Mayweather will make you an instant top 10 p4p (unless it is some fluke win like RJJ / Montel.)

 

Ortiz should be at least in the top 20 right now, but if he beats Floyd then I'd make him 4 still behind Pac, Donaire and Sergio. he can prove he's the real deal by beating Pac at it too, but this is completely hypothetical

 

at the moment i dont have him in the top 10 but hes around the 10 - 15 mark he needs another solid win to catapult him into the top 10

 

yes i would also like to see him fight himself it would be one hell of a grudge match

Im an ORtiz fan (even before the Berto fight) and no way is he close to top 1o yet... I wonder if some of you have actually put a long list out.. IFso you will notice there are alot of fighters with more accomplishments... Actually theres not a whole lot seperating a guy at number 20 and number 40... Talent wise Ortiz could someday make top 10 (maybe) but right now i think i have him somewhere between 30-40.. Another big win or a string of title defense and he goes up pretty quick.

Regardom Floyd it would depend how he beat him.. IF he fought him on even terms or ahead and kod Mayweather you would have to put him in the top 3or possibly rivaling Pac for 1... If hes way behind, or being outclassed then scores a hail mary ko. Then id say he barely cracks the tp 10.

 

lol all of a sudden Victor Ortiz is a warrior who will take on all challanges. We just lurch from one extreme to another.

khan said he doesent want to move up to 147 at the moment and had hes sights set on unifying the 140 div. the only one at this point who could coax him up to 147 is mayweather

 

Ortiz would be dumb not to fight him at 140. What big fight is Ortiz gonna get right now ?
The are both sloppy but Ortiz is less sloppy.
