No doubt. I've seen that. Plus, most, and I mean the majority, of Asian's I know aren't in some kind of hurry to advertise themselves. Sometimes I think, "man, don't even ask him that," when the microphone guys get to pickin' and pokin' at him.
No he isnt. You dont become world's most paid athlete by being dumb. This while becoming world's most loved politician. Just saying.
Watch interviews of him in his native language. He's not dumb. What's with your obsession with dumbness and Pacquiao though?
He is not dumb. But as a politician quite ordinary. He keeps spouting simplistic and populist statements when asked about current Philippine issues.
Yes, he seems dumb. That's not an insult. If he was my favorite fighter I'd say the same thing. He's been working in America for a decade and there's no reason why he shouldn't be more articulate in English given the time frame. Yao Ming has been in the states for a shorter time period and he is now basically fluent in English. The guy even cracks American jokes. You tell Pac a joke and he'll stare at you for a minute and then laugh. Jackie Chan, whose English appears to very limited and broken, expresses himself in a way that makes you understand that he has a significant thought process. It's the idea that one presents that is most important. He can have a very limited vocabulary yet still be able to reveal his cleverness if he possesses it. Pac has to depend on a number of advisers including Ariza and Koncz to help him make even the most simple decisions. He's not the brightest bulb in the room but it's still pretty damn good to be Manny Pacquiao these days.
Pac is 1000000000000000000000000000000 times richer than you. If he's dumb, what the **** does that make you, talking uselessly on a messageboard? :rofl
With that kind of logic, I can tell that you are dumb, and no, that's not an insult. Even if you were my favorite poster, I'd still say the same. Pac is working in America for a decade? You remind me of that 3 decades of Floyd's dominance thread. Can you count the number of hours Pac spent "working" in America. Was he there 24/7? Correct me if I'm wrong, but for all I know, Pac comes to America 1-2 months before his fight, then leaves days after. If you count that all, would it sum up to a whole decade? Comparing Pac with Yao Ming is like comparing apples and oranges. Do I need to elaborate?
Like I said go to another country try to learn the language, and some ppl will think ur a moron too. I have relatives who dont speak great english and can come off slow, that doesnt mean they are dumb. They have a harder time expressing themself and understanding at the same time.
