If a Big fight is stopped on an accidental cut before the four round it is declared a draw. Does A perfect record really matter? Or do guts , pride and doing your best at all times count for more.

when has a perfect record ever mattered?
its nearly always a sign off a protected fighter

No, it doesn't. Nor does a loss.

    Typical sunshine fan rubbish.

Depends on how the draw happend.
With Hopkins he was floored twice and could only scrape a draw with Mercado. Thats not a good draw to have. You cant say it was even that dangerous a fight etc.

A draw means it was close battle and neither boxer deserve to lose.

having a draw is like an asterisk.. FOr instance Marciano and Calzaghe are usually menitoned as the only 2 elite fighters to go undeafeated.... But Ricard Lopez didnt have any losses either, but he did draw with Rosendo Alvarez and his harsh critics like to bring up how that fight could have gone either way.

Victor Ortiz should only have one loss.... The others were techinal draws and a 1st rond Dq loss.... When it comes to TDs they should just call them NO contest.

So could Calzaghe-Reid, and Calzaghe-Hopkins was a pretty clear win for B-Hop.

Even though i was rooting for BHop.. I though Calzaghe just nicked it. I had Calzahge by 1 point, he just outhustled Bhop in the late rounds.. Winnable fight for Bhop he let it slip away... Didnt see his fight with Reid..But i was never impressed with Reid.. Cant believe Calzaghe let him fight himso close.
