Check these video's out he's motivated, skilled at striking, incredibly strong and in my opinion would knockout cain. His wrestling abilities are arguable but his guillotine choke i think will save him from most takedowns and he's strong as hell.
    What do guys you think?

He has a glass chin and a leaky defense. He would get owned by Velazquez and Dos Santos.

With the buy out of Strikeforce. They should make this fight (velaquez vs reem) happen. Weather he wins or loses the tournament.

  4. Cain and JDS doesnt have top level striking like those previously seen by Overeem though. Both JDS and Cain also has a vastly inferior ground game, not to mention Overeem would simply pick them up and rag doll them everywhere.

Cain would probably beat Overeem, so could Brock just because Overeem doesn't have much TDD. He does have good BJJ though so both would be interesting fights.

JDS as much as I like him would have no chance against Overeem, He doesn't have good wrestling and is standing up is any were near as good as Overeems.

Your post is nonsensical. Out of the 3 fighters you mentioned the only one who is a live underdog is JDS. Cain much less for Brock don't have a prayer vs Overeem. And if you think Overeem has no TDD i suggest you go and watch some of his fights.

I've seen plenty of Overeem fights and I don't neccesarily mean he has bad TDD in the sense that anyone could take him down but are you gonna tell me that you think Overeem could stuff either Brock or Cain's takedowns? I guess we don't know because he hasn't fought much competition at HW and his technique may have improved since his days at LHW but he was not known for his good TDD in Pride. I'm aware I oversimplified my post but I couldn't be bothered to type out a long one.

Cain could beat Overeem as could Brock, although that is much less likely. If Brock could get Overeem down it could be a rough night for him.

Brock won't get him down because Reem will blast him in the face with a nice knee and Brock will turtle dance all over the ring again. Brock might be a stud athlete but Reem is probably as strong maybe stronger. Who knows really? Cain will not out strike him. If Reem can go head to head with K-1's best and win why would you think Cain would be any better? Reem has to prove he's the best now and I think he could. JDS has a better chance IMHO. Hope we'll find out. Good fights either way but I think smart money goes to Reem.

JDS is very underrated and there is already some beef between JDS and overeem cuz JDS said pretty much dayum brock lesnar and overeem are HUUUUGE its like they took some PEDs and overeem just went of on JDS

Yeah, That is why I said if Brock can get him down. If that is what Cain can do to Brock, Imagine what he would do when he eats one of those Uberknees. He is working on improving his reaction to punches though, it is a mental thing.

The reason I think Cain would have a chance is because he is well rounded and has good wrestling, I'm not saying Cain can beat Overeem on the feet but it would a fairly even match up on the ground and Cain has the skills to take it there.

If he wins I'd put him at #2 behind Cain.
