Floyd's conviction would be the greatest thing that ever happened in boxing.

    A boxer that has power and a punch can alway rely on it as he gets older and the threat keeps him in the fight to the end. A boxer who relies on speed and reflexes will run out of both, slows and then is sadly beaten looking bad.

    Mayweather = speed and reflexes.

    Besides Floyds fanclub, I don't think anybody gives a **** about him anymore anyways, everybody is sick of his games and boxing is doing fine with him sitting out, in fact you could argue its doing much better. He's only hurting himself sitting out, not me as a boxing fan. The money he asks for is ludicrous and makes certain that other fights can't be made. Most likely this guy is going to do some prison time anyways, not much but some and then probation. Its the best thing for his life. He's still young, in his mind about 12, he needs help for his gambling and temper problems, and then maybe he could be a man finally. He should take a page out of Pavliks book, admit your problems and go get some help and quit being a menace to society, I don't care how much money one has, it doesn't give you a right to break laws and go unpunished. It will catch up with him sooner or later, just like it did his dad and uncle. He needs help or he may end up in prison for a long time and broke. Boxing is bigger than any one guy, Floyd needs to realize that, it goes on just fine without him.

    You ******. There is a reason why the Great Roy Jones is getting beat and why Hopkins is still fighting young tough competition. Floyd has speed and reflexes but he also has ring IQ, great jab, inside game, and wonderful defense. Manny is the one who will fade.

    When Ali wasn't a part of boxing ,boxing went to **** ,when Tyson wasn't a part of boxing ,the HW era today is still **** ,if Mayweather never fights again and Pac soon retires no more PPV that will reach over a million viewers,you do the math.
