Early last year I tipped him to pick up British, Commonwealth & European belts at Fly. He fell out the first hurdle with that dodgy draw and was pretty inactive sice. He has had a fight in Germany and I assume he is the main support tonight and on just after 8.00pm tonight. I am note sure whether he is going to continue at Fly, Super fly or Bantam. If he shows similar form to the Usman Ahmed fight I will start to get carried away again. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W8WAkTUpFGE[/ame]
I'm going to go one step further and say he'll draw to Shinny Bayaar in 2010 and then win a UD over a journeyman.
That was one of the world robberies of the year. It was a comprehensive victory for Bayaar, no question about it.
I missed Shinnys fight with Chris Edwards (volume feather fist) WTF happened there?!? Bayaar was earning a modest reputation befitting British-based Mongolian fighters ;-)
Why in the name of Christ was Bayaar never given a rematch against that little shithead Paul Edwards?
according to moloney, edwards performance aginst bayaar was the best he has ever seen against a southpaw !!!!
There's a Paul and a Chris Edwards. The one who got the disgraceful call against Bayaar and proceeded to celebrate like he'd actually achieved something was Paul Edwards.
He was laughed off the Boxrec forum apparently for running his mouth off about his "victory". Neither he nor Maloney covered themselves in glory that night.... Bayaar was ripped off due to a BS rule that has thankfully been changed, the least they could have done was act in a dignified manner.
Sexton looked genuinly shocked that he was getting punched back at times, that said he always grits his teeth and gives it a go. Would like to see him throwing straighter shots to help his balance.
