Im after backing Spada at 12/5. Maybe im wrong but everytime ive seen Barker on telly this week he looks like shite. Hes never struck me as a big mw so im suprised but I think hes struggling. As for the lads in the Cuban thread, Theyre giving out about Perez been in prizefighter. If he wins he may have beat 2lads that have challenged Vitali within the past couple years and will gain great exposure. Suppose theyre delighted with the way Lara is going. His opposition getting worse and him getting poxy draws. Or plenty of their other exiles who are rapidly picking up losses.

 

is it craigavon or portadown? Ive been to portadown few times as its the closest train station to Armagh and its an intimidating little ******* of a town for a proper Irelander

well Barker looked pretty good there but not as good as the sky commentators made out. I had it 117 to 112 for Barker. Hate the way sky give out shite bout the judges in this one but swept terry o connors card for Smith the other night under the carpet. Just goes to show that they think its only a bad card if its taking points away from the English fighter rather than giving them to him.

 

Barker looked better than i though he was still nothing special tho

pretty clear sky are keen on making matchroom their number 1 promoter. Their love in for Barker there was bloody sickening. Spada was able to get on the inside quite easily, he just wasnt letting his hands go once he got in there. Macklin wouldnt make that mistake imo. Sky know prizefighter is guaranteed ratings so are giving the new look matchroom brook/barker the big push. Barker doesnt have the style to beat Lee either. The fighters that cause Andy problems wil always be pressure types. Barker cant fight like that and imo, isnt good enough to beat Andy from the outside
